It clearly is not enough! Yesterday, MSNBC’s Joy Reid said that Joe Biden successfully recovering from Covid would convey exactly the same thing [as Donald Trump surving an assassin’s bullet].

Well, if he does survive Covid, and we certainly hope that he does, we now know the perfect picture the White House photographer will stage:

  1. Isn’t Joe Biden vaccinated and likely triple to quintuple boosted? Shouldn’t he not get Covid because the vaccine is safe and effective? I’ve seen lots of old people carry on through a cold with no problems. Not the same as being fired at with multiple rounds from an AR-15 fired by an assassin trying to kill you. Not even close.

      1. You would expect ‘Resignations’ flying by these incompetents or face Attempted Murder and Obstruction charges themselves.

        The security scams all over every minute to be doing their jobs properly and would expect this shooter to be seen rather quickly. It’s they’re jobs.
        President Trump should have been delayed coming on stage as a security problem was developing.
        He’d have been taken out just coming on the roof with the rifle.
        Long before being allowed to set up for the kill shot.

      2. Proper authorization came from Crooks when he pointed his rifle and scared the police officer off the ladder. Correct response from the officer would be to move the ladder (so he doesn’t pop up in exactly the same place) and go back up and shoot Crooks. Rules of engagement would typically call for a challenge/ warning “unless you judge that a warning would cause unacceptable risk to yourself or innocent others.”
        When your job involves carrying a gun it includes you should have figured this stuff out in advance.

      Oh, and the meme isn’t complete. The agents in the photo should be wearing white lab coats, and the dude should have a stethoscope hanging from his neck.

  8. I think I may have had the latest strain of Covid a few weeks back – (I didn’t test myself of course) – and I have to admit it was pretty rough. I’m a pretty healthy 57yo, and the second day I did not move off the couch all day except to use the facilities. I can’t imagine just how rough it will be for this old fossil. Thoughts and prayers President Poopy-Pants!
