Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The sledge-o-matic might be able to replace the guillotine after the bid for amnesty fails.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all take a sledgehammer to the human “watermelons.”
Also, Batman died today.
Kevin Conroy, the voice of animated Batman for decades, dead at 66.
There was an animated Batman? I didn’t know that. The sixties animated Spiderman took up my TV time and attention.
Yes in the ’90s and it was part of a cultural peak of the human race. Phantasm of the Opera is arguably the best Batman film ever. Mark Hamill’s Joker is absolutely Best Joker.
I need to stream that entire series and soon it was certified BA.
EDIT: Also ‘Batman Beyond’ is the sequel animated series to animated Batman and it is shockingly good. Every other kids show set in the future is terrible with this sole exception.
More recently, Batman:Year One and Batman:Killing Joke are both well made. Not Phantasm good, but pretty good
Most of the newish Batman animated movies are pretty good
Superman: Red Son, too
Set in the 1980s, Kal-El didn’t crash into Kansas in the 1950s and get raised by Ma and Pa Kent, but crashed in USSR and is raised by Soviet authorities, a loyal servant of the State
All of them adult-ish. Not real graphic, ok for teens, but not meant for little little kids
Going to miss him. He had great comedy material even before he was into smashing fruits.
Gallagher has a brother who looks like him and does gigs doing the same act. According to Gallagher they’re not particularly close but he didn’t have a problem with him stealing his act.
Anyways, always thought Gallagher was hilarious.
