  1. RSV is running rampant here, south of the border in Minnesoooota. Pediatric hospital beds are full, and emergency rooms are full with waits of 2 hours or more. We had the same problems with RSV last year, but not always in the years before COVID when we isolated kids and masked everyone.

    1. RSV=what they used to call bronchitis. Smothering somebody with a respiratory virus is insane, they are having trouble breathing so these morons want to make it harder. Buy a baseball bat and use it.

  3. What the hell is wrong with most of the blurbs.
    It is like they are completely lost in the world and have no bloody life to attend to.
    Children get cold and running nose all the time, it’s the nature’s way to make them immune.
    The children need to be tended to and help them to get over the running nose as appropriate.
    These people that want to stuff the children with drugs are evil.

    1. Imho, for what’s is worth, masking exacerbates not improves the problem.
      Masked kids not acquiring herd immunity (get viruses from parents not each other).
      Kids with dirty masks constantly touching their face with their fingers, everybody but statists left worse off.
      That is a case of anti-mitigation folks, power grabbing masking as healthcare policy.
      The modern politician has mastered the art of being precisely wrong instead of approximately right (which they never are).
      From the same bunch who have left the healthcare system unfunded, unstaffed and unstable, but with them ensconced in power.
      The real bug in the system is the statist virus, the one that infects our God given rights, the basis of who we are as a people.
      Denied by totalitarians seeking to replace the individual as the dominant idea of society, instead adopting Marxian progressivism.
      Inexorably and inevitably progressing to authoritarianism as their transactions of decline pile up, their failure seen as the solution.
      Their solution is their power over us. The larger the state, the smaller the citizen, which is their ultimate goal, rulers who lord over us.

  8. I don’t think I’m being too off the mark in suggesting that whining kids who feel sick are eating into mom and dad’s social media/gaming time.

    I’ve had 5 kids. They get sick, it requires time and comforting to get through it. It’s normal.

    Some kids end up in the hospital, and every year the hospitals whine and cry because there are no beds. Search historical headlines…every year. “Hallway Healthcare” is probably a 30 year old term.

      1. Back in the late ’50s and early ’60s many doctors instructed new parents to protect their infants in every way possible. Mothers were urged to wear masks, filtered air was pumped into the nursery, etc. The end result was weak immune systems in those children. During the lockdowns children were kept trapped indoors, which kept them from getting fresh air (all the plastic and rubber in a modern house produce negligible fumes except when you seal the house because you’re afraid of the air outside) and being exposed to natural allergens such as pollen. As a result their immune systems have not developed as they should and may be weak for the rest of their lives. A comparable phenomenon exists in submariners. US Navy submarines spend 90days underwater. After three weeks no one onboard has a cold for the rest of the mission but when the submariners return to their families they all get sick because their immune systems have weakened. The immune system seems to be analogous to a muscle – use it or lose it.

      If by masking he’s referring to your std surgical paper mask ..? then your Micro-virologist is full of shit.

      Smallest pore in a paper surgical mask is~ 100mU
      Viral partiulate tends to be .05 – .015mU

      Now having said that they have pretty much ZERO efficacy against airborne viral particulate, covering their faces is still wrong. Excess CO2 intake and the Social aspects are more than enough reason NOT to mask a child.

      It’s Simply a FASCIST Kontrol method by those who feel they Own our kids being foisted upon them and us. And “they” damned well know it too.

        If the masks work, why do we need a vaccine?
        If the vaccines work, why do we need to wear a mask?
        If both masks and the vaccines worked as advertised, why (HIDE) the Ivermectin?

      2. L – The article was about Lockdown policies, which serve to isolate people from each
        other. Masking is part of the isolation. Agreed that the immediate danger of the
        type of masking imposed by gov’t. anti-health officials was hypoxia, hypercapnia and
        creating a fungal jungle on one’s face. Secondly, social isolation raising anxiety levels
        reduces immune function over time, too.

        Prior to the Panic-demic boxes of surgical/medical masks were embossed with a
        note that they do not protect against respiratory viruses. The ones made in China
        don’t, as they are made for making money and fear.

        to exposing(via F.O.I.A.), the hidden from Western gov’t’s, Pfizer documentation of spike protein of their concoction 25-75% getting into the vascular system. The mechanism
        for the clot in the clot shots. Immunology, he knows more about it than you and that is
        why he is so well regarded internationally, among the Dissident Doctor/Researchers.

        The people who mask their children or themselves for that matter, also isolate them,
        too.

  17. If one takes a step back, one sees that both the masks and social media censorship come from the same ostensible place: a desire to protect the vulnerable from the dangerous, whether it be bacteria or ideas. However laudable the concept, the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

    In yet another example of the Law of Unintended Consequences, the masks we slammed on our kids’ faces two years ago protected the immune systems of the youngest from exposure to low levels of everyday bacteria, which in turn prevented those same immune systems from developing the antibodies needed to beat back widespread infections. So now we have children hospitalized with a bacteria that was a yawn three years ago.

    In a similar way, the censorship is supposed to protect people from dangerous ideas. But if one believes that all the bad ideas have been stopped, then one relaxes one’s guard, and assumes all ideas that do get through are ‘good’. Surely OxyContin, the Afghan war, and the trans industry are enough evidence enough to show that’s not true. But, just as we impaired the immune systems of the young with masks and lockdowns, we have impaired the critical facilities of our young adults, and they can’t tell a good idea from a bad one, just whether or not it’s got a blue check mark. The long term effect on our society’s health is likely to be more significant than the one from RSV.
