  1. Brian Lilley “On Your Side” sends to me (and 100k others) an email on this a couple times a week, his summation of whos election campaign was most inept was nice to see, he refers to it as a train wreck comparing it to Paul Martin in 2005-2006.

  2. His campaign has been brutal, it’s been a pleasure to watch, yet cringey.
Polls have him anywhere from 2(!) points behind (the leftist polls) to 8 points behind. The anger at his election and bumbling ways is palpable. The sycophants and ideologues are silly and insulting.
Any promise he makes is easily countered with the following statement:
“You had 2 more years before an election, why didn’t you just implement it????”
Gas tax cuts. Price fixing groceries, especially Scrooge Pattison!!!! “The economy”. Forestry, Yay! Just pay a little more!
Daycare Dave is stealing a $10 daycare spot from a struggling family, while he and his wife bring in well over $500K per year. It’s gross and disgusting. Entitled to his entitlements!
It’s been 10 years. Governments get tired and arrogant around that mark. Clearly the case in BC. 5 cabinet ministers chose not to run this time, including his chief lieutenant.
His state issued goose is cooked.
35% of BC residents are functionally stupid. How they can vote for this band so incompetent, doctrinaire socialists is beyond comprehension, no doubt, they are all jabbed and boosted.

That said, the Cons are not really Cons, to be sure, but they aren’t the NDP. If they run a Christy Clark style government, they’re gone in 4 years too.
The Green girl landed some good shots at Eby in the debate last night, but she’s not ready for prime time, of course. The only damage the Greenies can do is to the Commies. I wish them luck, LOL.

    1. Doerkson summed it up quite well in last night’s debate, with the Green leader nodding in agreement, telling Eby that nobody believes anything he says. The Green leader sensed the weakness and her party’s opportunity, so instead of the knee jerk ABC crap we get from the granola socialists, she aimed her shots at Eby and the NDP. If the Greens manage to pick up a few seats and, as I predict and the few percentage of voters from the Conservative breakaway factions coalesce behind Doerkson, he will be the next Premier of BC, in majority.

Doerkson also refused to back down on repealing DRIPA, a UN concoction, not the will of BCers. Good for him.

He proved he can pull it all together and notwithstanding Eby’s open collar hand waving, now has credibility.

Voters should note that even if Conservatives win the most seats, but fall short of a majority, Eby will scheme to hang on to power. Imho Eby will spend the next week decrying Doerkson’s “hateful” anti-gay colleagues. Yawn!

      1. Polls range from a 2 pt to 8 pt spread for the Cs.
The 2 pt spread is a leftist pollster, so, we know the spread is bigger.
@charestiste is the X handle to follow for collating polls and projections. Even a 2 pt spread results in a 52-37 C win.
Nothing is guranteed but, the debate went well. Doerksens job was to just look normal and a regular guy. He stayed composed well on the big stage, for his first time. His goal was attracting voters in the middle, partisans are firm in their vote. He did well where most would have raised our voices at that lying carbuncle.
Yes, he’s not a CONSERVATIVE, but, the greater need is to get rid of the NDP and return competence and business sense to government. That will be accomplished.
Daycare Dave looked and sounded hyperbolic, living in the past, and promising everything wildly.
        Best line of the night?
No One Believes You Anymore. Quite!

        1. “Daycare Dave looked and sounded hyperbolic, living in the past, and promising everything wildly.”

          Did he mention Trump?

  3. I live in BC and have suffered a decade of the LPC in Ottawa and the NDP in Victoria. How any BC’er can drive through Hastings and Main and say “yeah, I think I will vote for more of the same”, is mind boggling. Can’t wait for the end of the commies in BC and Canada.
