“Republicans will be hunted”

Scott Adams got it right.

Ex-special counsel Jack Smith obtained personal information on 639,000 Republican donors, voters and supporters — including some who contributed as little as $1 or bought “red MAGA hats” — according to subpoena returns obtained by a Senate Republican committee.

In a Wednesday memo, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) disclosed the details of data Smith’s office received, denouncing the former prosecutor of President Trump for “abuse of authority.”

More than 148,000 rows on spreadsheets contained the findings, including donors from 2005 to 2021.

Dates of birth, home addresses, email addresses, Republican party registration, information about credit cards or employment history were also hoovered up. […]

“The new findings further corroborate that Smith and his partisan team aimed to map out the entire Republican Party apparatus,” he added.

That included names of Republican campaign aides and volunteers, as well as party donors who contributed anywhere between $1 and $1,000. Information on red Make America Great Again hats was also shared, including the buyers’ names and home addresses.

There’s more: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency reviewed 100,000 complaints and found the nine largest national banks it supervises had policies that factored in customers’ political, religious or business activities […] JPMorgan-owned WePay closed accounts of merchants selling MAGA and Trump merchandise.

  1. Having studied the “evil” which the Left has done through-out history, I DO worry IF the Democrats win the mid-terms.

  2. MAGA supporters have spoken out on being debanked for years, and in the last 2 years of The President’s mandate it appears to have hit the fan for those responsible. These wheels of justice couldn’t turn slower.
Jack Smith will be looking over his shoulder thinking, “is today the day?” for a very long time.

Keep in mind that at some point in time the Democrats will return to office, with a burning vengence for their form of justice.

  3. This is the “progressive” playbook worldwide. Didn’t Trudeau debank/freeze the bank accounts of those who supported Tamara Lynch including thru GoFundMe?

  4. OUTSPOKEN w/Dan Wootton. Yesterday, Dan reported on the infiltration of Farage’s Reform UK party by the taxpayer funded media. No doubt, the sought-after prize is the Party’s donor list. Likely doing the same to the Restore UK Party.

  5. This is a hilarious accompaniment to Ilhan Omar whining about politicization of the legal system.

  6. And we are supposed to trust government with our data? Remember this the next time a politican or bureaucrat (there is very little difference these days) reassures us that the government will protect our data. This applies across the world, not just the US.

    1. Following up on my comment about politicians above, maybe we need a new term, a policrat; or perhaps a bureautician, although that might be abbreviated to beautician since they make public statements to put lipstick on a pig. 🙂

  7. And a month before the mid terms as well where Repubs are projected to lose both the House and Senate so you just know they’ll really be able to stick it to Jack like they promised to since God knows when give ‘er the ol’ shrug of the shoulders and a “whaddya gonna do?”
    Attaboy Grassley!!!
Who do you think you are a Canadian Conservative?

  8. Amateurs. Up here in the swirling cesspool (formerly known as the Dominion of Canada), they went right for the bank accounts of the wrong-think crowd.

    1. No kidding. I donated $1,000.00 to Trump in 2016. So I’m in Jackoff’s database. However, I haven’t yet been disappeared from all my financial services. Good thing I’ve never bought a MAGA hat.

      1. I have mine…Dark Maga just like Elon’s. From the Trump store.

Also, GYM go suck a bag of dicks,
