Does the average Leftist not understand that individually caring about others and expressing empathy is generally a good thing, but basing public policy on the same principles is consistently a recipe for disaster?!

I bet I could get nearly 80% of them to leave France in less than a year. All I would need to do is remove the benefits to non-residents. Then, remove NGO’s from providing assistance and benefits to illegal residents. They’d leave on their own. Then, tighten up border control to keep out new arrivals.
The trick to getting them out of your country is to be one of the first EU countries to do this. I pity the last EU country to do this, because they get screwed.
