      1. You’re correct, but outside of his truthful exclamation of frustration, the extraction part of the rant was dead on (and it was done in 2011, which is significant).
        And we as a nation have largely become aware of it — which means the DSA and the GOPe don’t find their jobs as easy here. Sometimes you just have to give the gangsters an outlet for their inherent rapaciousness that isn’t so detrimental to the rest of society, an off ramp as it were. (hence the shift to Canada to put it back on topic; Maya’s there to help — I wasn’t really joking when I called you a resource colony Canadians, you’re getting set up for exactly that; think Russia in the ’90s, possibly worse because you still think you’re free).
        And in that there is some hope that we aren’t as screwed as many feared, not yet anyway.

  6. I never thought of it in those terms, but looking at the PMO as an extension of the Democrat party makes for an interesting perspective. I think it started under Trudeau though, not Carney. The current iteration of the Liberal government simply isn’t trying to hide it anymore.

      -the elbozos crowd remains silent because they are like talking to a brick wall, and
