  1. Cash & Capital – Do tell me more about this, “universal health care,” which Canada has.

  2. How hard is that?
Not hard when three successive Canadian administrations have completely discouraged the development of the nation’s greatest natural resources and financial assets.

  3. Texas won’t try to kill you.
It’s hilarious that this video ignores MAID. 17,700 Canadians executed in 2025.

    1. Gonna have to step up the pace of MAIDing your population unless you want to raise taxes another 30% … and … institute a 30 day minimum wait time for all specialist care.

  4. and yet elsewhere we see a vid starting out a cpl hard core elbows up crowd the guy starts out saying Poilievre is a thief. was that before or after the BC condo development bail out happened?
doesnt matter. Carney is like a pirate captain. l think that’s what this is. a live sequel to Johnny Depp’s uproariously funny portrayal of the pirate captain Jack Sparrow.
except this is REAL and its criminal and Canaduh VOTES for it.

  5. I don’t know who made this, what I do know is they don’t use any of the “social net” they refer to. Universal healthcare? Yes, Canadians universally wait absurd times for third world dogshit care, except for M.A.I.D. That is world class. Canada is a failed state.

  6. The US dollar has long been overvalued, in that you can buy more in Canada for a US dollar than in the US. To put it another way, the Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) conversion factor is around 1.2 between the US and Canada, which is substantial.

Why the discrepency? Perhaps because the US is the global currency of exchange.

So even though Texas may have a greater nominal GDP than Canada, that doesn’t mean the average Canadian in practice is that much poorer, as they can buy more (locally) with a US dollar than a Texan can.

    1. Maybe its because 40% of major of businesses in Canada want to move to America according to the RBC.
Elon Musk could have moved to Canada – now that’s funny.
Less oppression, more rights vs. “Safety Net Karens” who love Canada’s cradle to grave welfare state. As the video claims – there are good things about both systems.
Canada has abundant resources to last centuries. It will be fine – just a question of how its citizens view it.

      1. This discrepency has been in place for a long time, and exists in many other nations as well.

But it’s not clear that the US is less oppressive. The justice system is not all it’s cracked up to be. Overcriminalization is a greater problem there, where there so many felonies on the books, which are often vague and broadly stated and have “strict liability”, that almost all adults regularly break the law without knowing it. This hands enormous power to prosecuting attornies who want to put notches on their belt. Trump fell victim to this.

Another problem is civil forfeiture, where citizens have assets seized without being found guilty of any crime. This exists in Canada, but is no where near the scope as in the US, and has better safeguards against abuse.

  7. Texas has no state income tax. US maximum federal income tax of 35% kicks in at $600,000 US

Canadian maximum income tax of around 50% kicks in $265,000, in Canadian dollars.

US capital gains tax maximum 20%

    Canadian capital gains tax 50%

    1. My HS Freshman History teacher (and world class 6’-6” Water Polo coach) used to call it creeping communism in America. It appears as though Canada has the galloping version.
