2. Our “media” of course is in the bag for the Liberals….kind of reminds me of those clowns in the U.S. like Jim Acosta and other idiots who pretended to be “journalists” and now that they have gotten the boot, their true colors are showing. They have been left wing operatives all along.

5. I am increasingly of the opinion that the 24/7/365 media propaganda blitz doesn’t really alter voting that much. The voting is, in my humble opinion, decided mechanically and not by the voters.

   I mean, they lie, cheat and steal literally everywhere else, but Elections Canada remains pure as the wind-driven snow?

   How stupid would I have to be to believe that?

      Well, it *is* really difficult to cheat in a Canadian federal election. Not impossible, probably, but certainly not as easy as it is to cheat in American elections.

State owned and subsidized media is a form of political corruption of democracy for sure but democracy itself is nothing but a destructive state accelerant in a culture where institutional capture, low trust, and ignorance abounds and where free speech, knowledge of history, and critical thinking is purged. A nation of Eloi should not be allowed to vote. Voting should be restricted to net taxpayers only.

   1. I agree, as long as “net taxpayers” excludes govt employees/contractors/consultants etc who are of course NOT net taxpayers.
