  1. This is one of those Darwin in Action things, isn’t it? Let us face it, substandard parenting is a prerequisite for the youngster getting drawn into a grooming situation. I know we are not supposed to let parents parent, but, for those that do, this is one of the low trust world realities that parents mentor their offspring for. Yes, I know that not everybody has the resources for homeschooling. Sucks to be you. Yes, I know not every parent still has parenting powers, even if they are bleeding out child support money. Sucks to be you, too. And, I know it is hard on the casual observer, seeing grooming dressed up as progressive whatever. None the less, the efforts of the groomers are not largely effective, and, if the statistics be believed, the groomed turn out to be somewhat problematic for the groomer community in general. Which, if you can put aside your sputtering outrage, be objective, turns into a Darwinian experiment. Avoid crowds, and especially avoid crowds with the statistically likely to be unhinged.
