Nites Ov De Rod

@julie_kelly2;

A massive trucking scandal is (again) unfolding in Illinois and you can be sure the Chicago/IL media will go out of its way to ignore it.[…]

The FMCSA (under DOT) in continuing an ongoing audit of IL SOS office related to the issuance of at least 10,000 non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses over the past few years.

These are truck driver’s licenses awarded to non residents–foreigners–including some here illegally.

In 2024 and 2025, the state saw a huge jump in the number of non-domiciled CDL issued by IL SOS. In fact, an industry watchdog group obtained records via FOIA that showed roughly 40% of ALL CDLs issued by IL SOS in 2025 went to foreigners.

FMCSA determined at least 20% of all non-domiciled CDLs issued by IL SOS were done so illegally. Applicants did not furnish federally required paperwork including unexpired passports and IL SOS issued CDLs for a longer period of time than the applicants’ work authorization permitted.

  1. I’ve mentioned before that Chicago area highways (include NW IN) are now notorious for semi jack-knifes, semi’s hitting bridge support pillars, attempting to drive thru underpasses with low clearance and overturning on entrance/exit ramps…
    IL Democrats made sure Republican Governor George Ryan went to prison for an illegal trucker crashing into a family van in WI – illegal issued CDL while Ryan was IL SOS. Meanwhile decades of Democrat IL SOS receive no scrutiny, in fact, Gov JD Pritzker campaigns on protecting our citizens, all (illegal) citizens.

    These illegal truckers with IL CDL and illegal immigrants with IL DL create havoc on local roads, too.

  2. I actually consider myself lucky that I made it across MOST of the USA without trucker incident. And color me shocked as to how MANY trucks ply our roads. I don’t believe the general public truly grasps just how many trucks are needed to support our mail order lifestyle. It’s rather eye opening when one traverses 2,000 miles of our highways … and it’s EVERYWHERE … no matter how remote.

  3. too bad more ‘things’ arent as well organized as the truck license fraud.
    they seem to have it all covered eh? lotsa smashups keep ‘somebody’ employed too.
