Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Missing Native women?
That wasn’t a redaction. Clearly the money went down a black hole.
Why do we continue to pay the Indians 15 billion a year simply because they are indians …. and how many more decades are we going to be so stupid?
Probably for the same reason we give Quebec 13 billion a year simply because they are French.
The Brits (Wolfe) should have loaded the French on boats bound for France after The Plains of Abraham victory. The Brits in general should have assimilated the Indians
Wolfe was busy pushing up daisies. That’s the deal the Limeys negotiated at the treaty of Paris after the 7 years war. They were in no shape to do anything and by that time everybody had had enough of war. The French suckered them into grabbing a money losing commercial outpost and kept their good ones in the Carribbean. They already tried deportation (Acadians) and genocide, even subcontracted the Iroquoi to kill Catholics as early as 1701. Don’t be sad, they tried their best.
“Why do we continue to pay the Indians 15 billion a year…”
Because our “government” is a criminal conspiracy. Everybody knows this is a scam, they’re just stealing the money. Plain and simple.
You know the only difference between government and organized crime is the government can get bigger guns.
“You know the only difference between government and organized crime…”
Historically the government has been better at pretending to legitimacy. They appeared honest, at least.
The pretense seems to have faltered during the #ShinyPony years. Since Covid they’re just backing a truck up to the Royal Mint and loading by the pallet. The feeling one gets is of rats gorging while the ship takes on water…
No, the difference between the government and organised crime, is that organised crime dresses better and has honour!!
FILTHY LIBERALS
It’s 32BILLION, plus every year.
In FY 2024, 63 billion federal dollars was pissed away on indians….the feather kind. Not the dot kind.
Factor in expenses incurred by the provinces and municipalities and you have a canoeload of our tax dollars!!!
https://canadaspends.com/en/federal/spending/indigenous-services-and-northern-affairs
how do you know this? the TURDeau flattened any call for auditors.
That’s what the government spent not what the injuns wasted it on.
I would argue we’re not paying the Indians. We’re paying the Indian Industrial Complex. And you have to be bilingual (French, English).
Because the majority of Kanadians chant “Elbows Up!”, do the chicken dance thingy and vote Lieberal. Until that changes nothing else will.
“Sunlight is the best disinfectant”
When gov’t files are blacked out, it means the funds were misspent. it could be spent on trips to the Caribbean or new vehicles, or to pad expense accounts, but it’s gone and the gov’t isn’t going to tell you who was the beneficiary because it’s illegal.
Time to start redacting the cheques.
“The heartbreaking truth about Residential Schools’ unmarked burials continues to be unveiled.”
Name one damn thing that has been unveiled.
Racism. Oh, and Marxism. The two primary indigenous peoples characteristics.
Sorry, that’s two
“Truth and Reconciliation” is Orwellian Newspeak for Apartheid Reinforcement and Inversion. The mythically self-governed and the state are a “government to government” conspiracy and you aren’t included except as their (tax-paying) slaves.
“Government is a disease masquerading as its own cure” – Robert LeFevre
Truth is Bull Shit
Reconciliation is Extortion
Reverting to stereotype?
“Some still hold mortgages, one woman still owes $80,000 on hers, and at least one trailer was listed for sale before the nation warned in October 2025 that the park’s initial 50-year lease might not be renewed.”
How did anyone lend her more than $80k on land that isn’t hers?
Exactly. There was a time that no financial institution would loan anything on native lands.
Apparently, credit unions will do these loans today.
The banks are smarter than that.
I just shake my head at people that trust the natives. They are worse than scumbag Chinese building landlords on the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.
If you’re going to live on native land, you have to be able to afford to lose your “investment”.
A $30k quarter share in a condo? OK, that’s affordable.
A $600k house? That’s DUMB!
For a trailer home.
A contract with an Indian, especially a Band/Tribe, is an unenforceable illegal contract. It may be a beautiful and inexpensive piece of property. If it is on Indian land stay away from it.
This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but, since this is in my region, and there’s history, here goes.
It’s NATIVE RESERVATION LAND. Don’t be a renter of ANY sort on native land. Even an “owner” of a house, or condo is subject to the 99 year lease arrangements that are standard on any development on native lands.
A few years ago, we considered a lakefront patio townhome on OK lake in Penticton. The location was spectacular, and priced at $675,000. Turns out, native lands. We scratched it off ASAP.
Know this, ANY purchase or move onto native land requires that you accept that you can afford to lose your asset/investment/property at the whim of the natives, or their contractual leases.
Remember the University lands homes in Vancouver that are on Musqueam land? The 99 year lease was up and they demanded up to $250k per homeowner to retain and renew. Bye bye.
In June 2021, the Songhees band in Victoria did the same thing, gave 3 years notice to the mobile home renters on their lands. It was upheld in court.
There’s a long history here in BC of renter evictions of mobile homes on native and non-native lands. I’ve seen multiple more examples of these evictions over many years. Yes, they’re seniors with little choice, but, this isn’t new, it’s been going on for 40 years. Owning a mobile and renting a pad is literally a suicide pact with your “equity”. They’ve been a cheap decision until the landowner decides otherwise. Mobile homes are bad, bad “investments”. Always have been, with few exceptions.
Yes, the natives are not our friends and never have been.
Know your rights, and know THEIR rights before making any decisions to live on native land, where, you are a subhuman, compared to the “aboriginals”.
Of course the band’s excuses are bullshit and nonsense. Behind closed doors, their laughing at all of us, when they’re not sneering.
If you want to have a look at some real sucker/gamblers, Google Radio Tower Rd Homes for sale, in Osoyoos.
All are on native lands, many valued well over a million bucks. Until the lease is up, of course. Suckers and losers, but those summer rentals are paying off for now.
You are completely correct. The key word is “mobile” and pad rental should always be considered temporary. Two years notice should suffice to find a new location for your mobile home. Native landlords or not, this is always a possibility.
The natives in this case probably just want the BC government to pay them a few million dollars to renew those leases…at which point their ‘urgent need’ for that land will suddenly disappear.
Not beyond the realm of likelihoods.
The natives are as untrustworthy as any chinese landlord snake.
Exactly! I owned a mobile home for two years. It was cheaper than rent and when I sold it a nice stepping stone to a real house. However, and this was critically important and the only reason I bought it. I owned the lot the trailer was parked on!
City of Calgary gets greedy as well. Kicked the residents out of the trailer court on 16th Avenue just going up the hill west of Deerfoot. That was four years ago. The property still sits vacant.
This may sound snarky but think about it.
We turn the hole providence BC over to the Indians.
We also pas laws that require the Indians to rent to us at a dollar per month and maintain our homes in the mannor we want.
All rentals would come with ALL utitilitys paid by the owner.
The mistake that was made on the Canadian side of the border is that the Crown never declared war on the Indians. The government in the U.S. did. The Crown considered doing so, but the Indians decided to agree to the treaties (which, of course, now get twisted out of all reality by “elders”….what a bloody scam that is).
Tis a feature ,not a bug.
The Canadian Apartheid System has proven to be one of the best longterm scams in the history of English Speaking peoples.
The Bureaus of “managing those Poor Brown peoples affairs”,has many dependents..
Whole bureaus of them.
Whats a few billion between friends?
