Why has the world’s first hydrogen double-decker fleet failed?
… because every “fact” written about electric busses is a pack of feel-good lies. Far less than half of Aberdeen’s busses are currently electric and the idea they charge “fast” and run for 18 hours is simply not believable … because as stated … advancements in battery technology. Puhleeze!? Nor is it believable that the energy cost/input is significantly less than hydrogen busses. The physics of getting that electricity from a power plant to a bus battery … the inefficient discharge and life cycle cost of those batteries, bus downtime and repair, etc. etc. is glossed over in favor of feel-goody good bullshit.
How much longer will we set public policy on hopium and change? Didn’t we learn ANYTHING from the FAILED magic green Negro POTUS? Let alone the FAILED UniParty Brit House of Commons and Lords?
