    1. The G&M hate piece was written by one Cathal Kelly, a smug left-wing sports writer who carefully toes the Globe’s woke line. The Globe and Mail is owned by Tomson Reuters, whose stock price recently hit a 24-year-low.

  9. I read the article, believe me calling the players monkeys was the most complementary thing the author, Cathal Kelly, said. That article was one of the most elitist, narcissistic, screeds I’ve ever read. That guy makes Justin Trudeau sound reasonable. It’s not just Team USA he has a hate on for, I’m pretty sure the guy probably cheered the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. That the G&M actually employs a self centred egomaniac like him shows how the mainstream media got its reputation.

    1. One of the things this last week has taught me is how much the media despises sports and the people who play and watch them and, if anything, the people in the media paid to cover sports are among the biggest haters.
