    No. It was not while Martin was PM.
    It also wasn’t during a hurricane. Those are extremely rare in the eastern Mediterranean.
    It was during the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

    1. I know I sound like a broken record and have posted previously the motto which I live by “Do not spend money which you do not have!” I managed to get through the 1990’s when there was a design and construction recession which lasted from 1990 to 1996. I am able to sleep at night.
      Sadly, all levels of government should follow this advice, but instead they run up significant deficits each year which then are added to the municipal, provincial and federal debts. Even Scott Moe, the premier of Saskatchewan has succumbed to the NDP levels of crazy spending.

    Transgender Refugees

    Canada is recruiting Mass Immigrants from around the world for a special program called LBGQT Refugees

    In addition to paying living expenses for a year they also have a supplementary health program available to them for sex changes

    It’s the same program that the federal government offers to its employees that cost $75,000 a year just for the healthcare

    In Canada, the Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) provides federal employees up to $75,000 in lifetime reimbursement (at 80% coverage) for eligible, medically necessary gender-affirming care not covered by provinces, effective July 2023. Covered services include surgeries, hormone therapy, and hair removal. Coverage requires prior approval and a diagnosis of gender dysphoria.
