      Was going to go to the signing in Monarch yesterday but events conspired against me. Can anyone provide an update as to how that event went.

      There was one in Raymond as well. I don’t fit in there as well with my coffee mug 😉

   2. Marc, the first time you mentioned this weeks ago, I made a calendar reminder to run this today wrt tomorrow’s event. My research showed that the venue changed, so I updated that.

      1. Thank you Robert, I don’t know what else to add to the post, and THANK YOU for posting it with the correction though I think people would see the massive lineup outside and figure it out… 😉
         BMO holds about 5k and the Big Four Building holds about 8k, I have a Dr. to see tomorrow early AM and will be headed that way after, though I can’t say if I’ll be there until 7PM when the speakers do their thing.
         It will be posted to X/Twitter I’m certain, other evening’s presentations have been as well and I’ve watched a couple of them, though I don’t know who is responsible for that.

         Jeffery Rath is one of the insiders organizing this entire thing, and he’s posted today that the numbers from last week were very good. This was during the cold snap here in AB but that didn’t deter folks from lining up outside. I wasn’t going to mention Rath as his number is real high, and also not wanting people to think, “hey they have enough signatures already” … because a petition of +1 million would certainly be good to have.

      Glad I flew back from the US for a week last week, petition was in okotoks and put my John Henry in!

      1. Canada’s mistake was pretending the Plains of Abraham never happened. The biggest mistake Canada ever made was the Bi and bi Commission.

      2. Goodness, they’ve fallen low in Quebec. What a ludicrously stupid fuss.

         Remember when John Lennon was asked if Ringo was the best drummer in rock, and replied, “Ringo isn’t even the best drummer in the Beatles”? When I lived in Quebec City (half a century ago), if the locals heard someone talking tosh (as people do) about the Battle of the Plains of Abraham as the most important battle in North American history, they would snort and say, “The Plains of Abraham isn’t even the most important battle in Quebec City history”. The Plains of Abraham certainly had nothing to do with the very real co-operation between English and French which built Quebec City and Montreal as we knew them. And those cities as we knew them have little to do with today’s Quebec, which is as rootless and ahistoric as Ikea furniture.

         So when Carney talks rubbish about the Plains of Abraham, he should be called out. Instead we get an idiot stew of chestnuts in drivel, every imagined grievance and every ingrained prejudice against the English dragged out to howl, most of it further off the mark than Carney was. It’s sad and a disgrace.

      Alberta should have already set-up their own provincial security agency – and maybe they have – just to protect their provincial interests, let alone protect them from Ottawa.

   When the scare tactics start to ramp up from the government propaganda agencies..maybe we should mock them with Diagolon?
   Jeremy’s joke apparently panicked the knoobs in Ottawa, as they repeatedly cited it as cause to crush the Truckers.
   Cited “Diagolon” on Parliament.
   Claimed “Diagolon is a threat” when attempting to justify their power grab,”Emergency”..

   So should we revive it?
   The joke/reality that USA 48 to Alaska shall be joined by diagonal path of freedom loving Canadians..
   Sometimes the pretence that something is real,is enough to blow the gullibles minds.
