It may be run by any group of leftists, as they’re reporting a poll pushed by #Libranos which seeks to undermine the separatists here, and both the NDP and #Libranos have bent polls to serve their wishes in the past. That’s from the first day I saw SDA make the news as the NDP sought to bend a poll to their liking, and were caught not counting all the votes.

Those types of polls are a standard practice to instill doubt and influence perception so that people get discouraged and say why bother.
Sadly Marc, based on the people I talk to day in and day out, those numbers are probably accurate. 57% believe Ottawa is not acting in our best interest but when it comes time, they’ll vote to stay. We’re too infiltrated and there has been nowhere near enough pain inflicted for people to risk change. They’re too comfortable. I’m all for independance and have been for years but this would be better put to a vote after Carnage flattens the place, maybe 2027 or 2028. Now when it fails, when we’re really hurting, we won’t be able to split. They’ll say we had our chance.

There are a couple of stories on the same topic (violence on Edmonton transit), but the ‘investigative journalist’ and everyone he interviewed is very VERY careful to tiptoe around the real question: which particular group (he carefully called them a ‘cohort’) of people are actually responsible? I’ve never been to Edmonton but I can take an educated guess…
