   2. I’m curious just how much of Canada’s predicament is the result of Chrystia Freeland? Did she claim to be the REAL Trump whisperer? Did she assure her team that SHE knew how to best handle the BadOrangeMan? The impasse reeks of her arrogance.

         This is just my personal, unsupported opinion, but I find it hard to see how #Twitchy and #ShinyPony didn’t f- this up on purpose. #CarkMarney certainly does not seem to want a deal, he keeps making everything worse. I can’t see them all doing that by accident for ten years. Canada in disarray seems to be their goal. It”s getting them votes, believe it or not. The last election, they seized victory from the very jaws of defeat.

         Americans don’t really understand just how much of an INFERIORITY COMPLEX a lot of Canadians have about the USA. They really, -really- hate you guys. So, (if you assume an utter lack of moral scruple) it makes sense for Twitchy to go down to Washington and -p1ss them all off- like there’s no tomorrow. Because then she can come home and scream “#OrangeManBad!” and #CarkMarney can yell “Elbows up!” and then all these kneejerk Normies will jump to attention.

         These idiots actually started buying guns up here, did you know that? The same #Lieberal voting Karens who have been “GUNS BAD!!!” their entire adult lives are literally running out and jumping through all the hoops to buy firearms so they can defend the nation against #OrangeManBad. All because #Trump was trolling #ShinyPony with the 51st state gag.

         So as far as getting a reaction out of the sleeping Normies, they certainly got one. They jumped to attention.

         Now, on the other hand I wouldn’t say this is good for #CarkMarney and the #Lieberals, because now all the Normies are p1ssed off and paying attention. Normies are beginning to understand that Canada is F-ed. Capital F. No army, no industry, no jobs, and no prospects. Can’t buy a house, can’t rent one either, and your money that you worked so hard for is worthless. What’s left after taxes, anyway.

         I don’t pretend to be able to predict how things will go here anymore. They’re acting like friggin’ lunatics, Kenji. Everybody I talk to is shaking his head and wondering what the f- they think they’re doing.

         1. The only conclusion I can draw is that Canada’s supermajority leftist political leadership are steadily steering Canada into communism. Net Zero, de-industrialized, anti-consumer, communism. It’s all part of their plan.

            1. yep. l look at this like so many other similar issues where hard cold factual infor mation is by design, hard to obtain. the acid test is this: if they WANTED ‘outcome x’ would *this* policy/action/pattern of behavour/etc be expected? if the answer is yes then it all looks planned and deliberate. especially in this case the actions are constant in the last decade, and every time they gain power (and a hat tip to the idjits voting for it.)

               It’s rhetorical because it defies logic they would continue with the current strategy if they really wanted the problem to go away.
               Shorter version is that this isn’t a flaw in how Canada was established, it’s a feature because the fathers of confederation wanted to retain the form of government the US rejected in 1776.
