5. Evan Solomon’s friendship with Mark Carney goes way back to 2015, when Mr. Solomon brokered an art deal with the then governor of the Bank of England. This was just before the CBC dehired Solomon for making side money through art deals. From an old 2015 Macleans article:

He liked our10 per cent off!…”.

   The article then goes on to explain that Mr. Carney’s wife had a big circle of friends, including royalty, who could be clients of more art sales.

   Flash forward to 2015. Carney promoted MP Solomon to Minister of AI and Digital Innovation.
