It is the result of Marxism and is called “grievance mongering”. Marxism teaches envy and division spawned by differences. Because I admire a product or idea from another culture, and adopt it as part of my personal beliefs and practice, it is now known as “cultural appropriation” (at least 8 syllables) and is considered evil instead of good (along with a healthy increase in syllables to obscure the bovine excrement being produced – refer to “Soft Language” by George Carlin). You cannot simply go through life without bitching about how unfair it is, that somebody done you wrong.
It is life, it is not fair, and it is a mark of character to do it well. Grievance mongering is a pointless sideshow, wasted energy and breath for achieving nothing at all.

Best of all, he can revel in their cultural appropriation from the west as they shamelessly enjoy our those cultural innovations: television, automobiles, the internet, antibiotics, flush toilets … the appropriations are endless; revel in them.
