47: No WHO For You

PJ Media;

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just announced the defeat of authoritarian World Health Organization amendments that tended toward an anti-freedom, unhealthful, unscientific dystopia.

Kennedy joined with Secretary of State Marco Rubio to formally reject the amendments. Critics have long warned these modifications would essentially have given the WHO total control to dictate the United States’ national response to anything it arbitrarily labeled a pandemic.

“The proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations open the door to the kind of narrative management, propaganda, and censorship that we saw during the COVID pandemic,” Kennedy said in a Friday press release. “The United States can cooperate with other nations without jeopardizing our civil liberties, without undermining our Constitution, and without ceding away America’s treasured sovereignty.”

    ” The United States can cooperate with other nations without jeopardizing our civil liberties, without undermining our Constitution, and without ceding away America’s treasured sovereignty.”

    Overall, I’m not a fan of RFK Jr. … however … when he makes such 100% right on comments such as this … I will keep an open mind on him. Perhaps both he and I are moving slowly toward each other?

  2. “Kennedy joined with Secretary of State Marco Rubio to formally reject the amendments.”

    I’m liking Trump’s Cabinet choices more and more as they are clearly on the same page.

    1. But, but, but … Bongino is resigning! And probably Kash Patel too!! And Pam Bondi is being FIRED!!!

      Sorry … that was last week’s FAKE news.

  3. The EU Parliament is a complete waste of time and resources. It should be abolished if European countries wish to maintain their individual cultures and sovereignty. Considering the overwhelming impact of immigration from the Middle East and Asia it may be too late.

  4. “unscientific dystopia”

    Meanwhile, Kennedy is pressuring Coca-Cola to switch from corn syrup to cane sugar, which will make no difference whatsoever because they are virtually identical — a pretty much even mixture of fructose and glucose. The problem is the amount of sugar, not the source of the sugar.

    This guy buys into fringe beliefs the way I buy into malt scotch. He has no business being the Health Secretary.

    1. You’re a fine one to talk. You’ve got more fringe beliefs than Roger Daltrey’s tailor.

    2. Cane sugar has a more intense taste than HFCS, so you need less of it to get the same flavour profile. Also it doesn’t create the same craving for more sugar that HFCS does.
