A suspicious Iranian man called from a pay phone, then showed up unannounced at his office in 2019. Zarezadeh notified both the RCMP and FBI. The Americans responded promptly, informing him that his visitor was an Iranian intelligence officer. Zerezadeh says he never heard back from the Mounties.

Last I heard, there was one particular Mountie under criminal investigation relative to last month’s G-7 conference. He/she (don’t know because the refuse to identify the Mountie) apparently was making threatening comments on social media while assigned to the G-7 conference. He/she, was also releasing confidential information on President Trumps movement plans for the conference.
The conventional wisdom on Trump’s early departure from the conference was to deal with Iran. However, one could make the argument that he left early due to the absolute security shortcomings. Even the CBC covered the story, remarkably:

The RCMP care about some things: their pensions, shooting up Volunteer Firehalls and performing B&E’s to get the guns of law-abiding citizens.
