  1. The “en route” link isn’t working.

One can only guess the reasons for this.
Someone’s wife or kids perished in a fire, wanting “suicide by cop” or a general dislike of gov’t.
    It’s impossible to know today.

  2. “Police are reporting shots from multiple directions.”
More than one shooter – some activated terror cell?
Maybe, but Coeur d’Alene Idaho doesn’t really seem to a place they’d be.
When the George Floyd riots were going on several well armed local citizens were patrolling the city’s streets to deal with any antifa protesters stupid enough to show up there.

    1. Idaho is (was?) the home base of the Aryan Nations.

“Aryan Nations is a North American antisemitic, neo-Nazi[1] and white supremacist[2] hate group that was originally based in Kootenai County, Idaho, about 2+3⁄4 miles (4.4 km) north of the city of Hayden Lake. Richard Girnt Butler founded Aryan Nations in the 1970s.”

“In 2009, Aryan Nations Revival, which was then based in Texas, merged with Pastor Jerald O’Brien’s Aryan Nations, which was based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.”

        1. I had a friend who joined the Aryan Nations in Idaho so he could write a freelance article on the experience. The article was published, I don’t remember where.

So, the Idaho part was correct.

  3. It’s Idaho. Where the default suspect is a white supremacist, domestic terrorist, survivalist, anti-government, raging Trump supporter.

Trump will be blamed … Moving on …

      1. “Kate’s always correct … never jump to any preconceived conclusions. I’m anxious to read about a 20yo’s “grievances” that led to ambush murder.”

I keep seeing ‘trans’ references on US websites. Don’t know if they are being sarcastic or if it’s confirmed. The fairly quick identification is interesting, too.

  4. Think in terms of psyops. Setting a fire and then ambushing the first responders means the next time there’s a fire, the first responders will delay and be more cautious when they get to the site. That allows the fire to spread farther, faster and do more damage.

    1. My wife says he identified so quickly via fingerprints … suggesting he has already committed crimes serious enough to get fingerprinted
