  1. The Liberals and the Bloc are continuing to destroy this country, and most of the retarded voters don’t care!

    1. I’m waiting for central and eastern Canada to say we must retaliate against Trump tarrifs by putting export taxes on energy, mining and agricultural products produced in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Eastern and central Canada are always willing to sacrifice the profitable resource economy of Alberta and Saskatchewan to save their government subsidized businesses, government handouts and government protected cartels.

  2. Liberals core values are fascism and censorship.
No way they back down on controlling information and media in Canada.

  3. Elbows up, ya Canucklehead chickens. Elbows up. We’ll all show Orangemanbad we don’t need the stinkin’ US of A to be prosperous. We’ll just trade with the EU. After all, didn’t Carnage say we’re the most European country that isn’t part of Europe? This country’s collapse can’t come soon enough.

  4. First -we need three pipelines, to St. John, New Brunswick, to Prince Rupert, BC, and Churchill, Manitoba. That way the US can pay a premium if they want our oil. Apparently Trump doesn’t want it. Dairy products are such a minor, insignificant, trade item. It is clearly a talking point that would be replaced by something else if they weren’t an issue. On the other hand the US has softwood lumber which they won’t concede on.

    1. Laugh seeing “Made with Canadian Milk” on our dairy products, like there is a choice…

      1. Or “We only use Canadian Chicken/Eggs”.
There’s a reason for that. 200 to 300 per cent.
Milk import quota. Kanada claims it’s all used up by day trippers coming back from the US.
If Kanada and America were to he featured in an episode of Fear Thy Neighbour, Kanada would be the villain.

    2. Well, here is the problem with your argument; it would make economic sense. It would open new markets, employ thousands and, if they were to actually buy Canadian, ensure steel production for years to come. Therefore, it will not happen. Pretty hard for the virtue the Lord Farquaad virtue signalers to puff out their chest at the UN cocktail party.

Dairy? Yes. A very small minor, insignificant, trade item. Yet the benighted Dominion is willing to sink the entire economy into the depths to save the quotas of the Quebec dairy farmers and their ability to overcharge for an inferior product. Multi-millionaires thrive while regular, working people are thrown to the wolves. Not very comradely.

      1. There is no problem with my argument. 73% of dairy farmer’s income in the US come from government subsidies. Government subsidies on dairy in Canada are insignificant. The US government drives overproduction and it becomes Canada’s problem? The normal thing to counter subsidies is to tax them out of the product price.

        1. I was referring to the pipeline portion of your argument.

The United States has determined, for many years, that the supply controlling marketing boards, specifically dairy, are a trade irritant. The US is not the only one. The EU has said pretty much the same. I believe we are the only country left with them.
The state of Wisconsin voted for Trump. How may Canadian dairy farmers did? If the US wants to make this a big deal, then guess what? It’s a big deal! How many on here want to see their livelihoods destroyed so multi-millionaires with quota can continue to stick it to Canadian consumers? If the US subsidizes their dairy farmers to the tune of 73% and I can get cheaper milk and cheese, and I don’t have to look for the “Frozen Desert” for the fake Ice Cream that has to be sold, I am failing to see a problem. How much quota do you have?

        2. Government subsidies on dairy in Canada are insignificant? Economics much? Supply management is the biggest subsidy, evah. Shithole.

          1. Supply management isn’t government subsidy. With the Bloc Fasciste running the Canadian government, supply management is going nowhere.

        3. You are dragging your argument into silly details. Keep your eye on the prize. Trump is using Dairy as an example to extract concessions in other areas where it matters. You think people would have caught on by now.

        4. “There is no problem with my argument. 73% of dairy farmer’s income in the US come from government subsidies.”
          ———
Support, in its various forms, equaled 73 percent of U.S. dairy farmers’ market returns in 2015, according to a report published by a Canadian trade consulting firm on Thursday.
          ——–

In 2015, you say? What is it now?

          ———-
The 588-page study by Grey, Clark, Shih and Associates — commissioned by Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) —
          ————

Oh, okay…commissioned by the *Dairy Farmers of Canada*. Makes perfect sense now.

” Government subsidies on dairy in Canada are insignificant. ”

They don’t need them, since they are granted an oligopoly instead…allowing them to charge whatever they want *and* keep competition away. Sweet deal, if you’re a Quebec dairy farmer…not so sweet if you try to open a 150-cow farm in western Canada but are told that you must spend 6 MILLION DOLLARS to buy ‘quota’ before you purchase the farm or even one *single* cow.

        5. Subsidies on exported goods are dealt with countervailing duties. Any US dairy products sold for export with those subsidies are subject to countervail and the US (federal and state level) cannot do anything about it other than stop subsidising exported dairy.

        6. ” … 73% of dairy farmer’s income in the US come from government subsidies.”

I have forwarded this to agricultural journalist (Ontario Farmer newspaper) Ian Cumming. He and his son have a dairy farm on Chateauguay NY. They may as well start their day with a smile.

      2. OK Canadians … Dairy is a small, insignificant Trade barrier … so … your PM finds a much BIGGER one … Digital Services Tax” … going after Elon Musk, and the newly “conservative” Mark Zuckerberg. So your PM takes a minor dispute and replaces it with a MAJOR dispute.

That doesn’t sound like negotiation … it sounds like escalation. Now we’re talking ELBOWS OUT!! This is what you voted for … good luck with that.

  5. Once more Carney and his Grit grifters show how they make Americans respect Canada – by again shitting the bed, who would make us rely on the high protectionist, low productivity EU, eschewing trade and defense with the US.

I know progressive government is incapable of being even approximately right, but must they be so good at being precisely wrong?

This is how they negotiate, pretending their hobgoblin tactics will work on Trump like they do our fearful big baby boomers?

Way to go big baby boomers, now you all have a real reason to be very afraid; up next, your home equity.
Proving again they don’t care about what happens to us, just their power. Our weakness is their strength.
As Canada heads into recession, as we await another fiscally crippling budget, as we hear talk and no action.

Unfortunately, Eastern Canadian voters have proven they’ll fall for any fear tactic, who think the head of the snake represents its entire body, when it’s the same old statist snake putting the bite of our most vulnerable.

Given summer “recess” has just begun, this bunch may be heading for the teaching point of a defeated budget.

  6. The liberals have to be ecstatic. The gov’t’s “Make More Poor People” agenda got a real shot in the arm from this. Now they’ll be looking for ways to drag this out before they’re forced to capitulate.

Can’t wait to hear what the premier of Morontario is going to say but I’m sure the old blowhard won’t disappoint.

    1. Fat F*ck Ford (3F) is more liberal than the LPC. He’s all on board for sinking Canada to ever deeper depths.

  7. The comedy just keeps rolling in.
Where to begin. Trump just bombed the tar out of Iran. He just won a major case in the Supreme Court. Now, he turns his sights north once again. Canaduh is so vulnerable because of years of stupid, vapid, lazy, yet VIRTUOUS!, policy. Our politicians will sink the whole, GD thing just to fellate Quebec dairy farmers and Chief Heap Big Cheque.

What will the response be? Elbows Up! Alberta and Saskatchewan, you have to stop selling oil and your economies can go straight to hell. Your people can be unemployed. Your businesses can die. Just as long as Jacques can spend six months in Boca Raton living off his quota.

Best thing that can possibly happen is that the feds cave on the dairy nonsense and then we can be rid of the Quebec ba$tards once and for all
Otherwise, the place will fall apart soon enough

    1. Dairy is just a talking point, think banking and telecom for two real trade issues. The Laurentian Elite control both industries, and profit massively from what is essentially a cartel forcing Canadians to pay too much for both. Shithole.

      1. True. I forgot completely about those highly protected sectors. RBC, TD etc can own and operate banks in the US but the reverse is not true for retail US banks in Canada.

Dairy is a very easy wedge issue however.

  8. This is the best news possible. This only hastens the ultimate demise of the Dominion of Canada as a monarchial entity. This will usher in a new revolutionary freedom for what is left of Canada. May God continue to bless President Trump and freedom loving Canadians.

    1. Agreed. Short term pain for Alberta and Saskatchewan, but the sooner we leave our colony status behind (which eastern Canada has confirmed will not happen within confederation), the better.

I’ve lived my entire life in Canada, and there isn’t a single place I’ve lived where sugar maples grow wild. Confirmation of my second class citizen status every time I see “our” flag.

  9. Huh? How strange … because your CTV just praised Carney for “keeping Trump on board” and called him a “Trump whisperer”. I won’t post the CTV link, because it is sickening, cloying, rubbish … but I’ll just post the closing sentence of the article.

Vucetic said Carney did “great” at the summit and that he proved he was “savvy” during his meeting with Trump, including when he jumped in to interrupt Trump’s rant to move on to other topics.

Ohhhhhhhhh mommmaaaaaaaa … how “brave”. He interrupted Trump. Trump interrupted. What a brave, brave, man.

    1. Crooked Marx Carnage was going behind President Trump’s back and making counter deals with the EU. Carnage has no intention of making a deal with the US. All the “Elbows Up!” retards want Kanada as part of the EU or as China’s 24th province.

  10. Trump is announcing the new tariffs next week. Ontario and Quebec are screwed. Think steel, aluminum, softwood lumber and autos. Very unlikely energy tariffs will change… Trump knows where the pressure points are.

    1. That depends on Trump’s long game. Further alienation of AB and SK as functional parts of Canada could promote separation.

  11. I think the Canadian economy, while obviously under duress at the moment, will be on the ropes by August.

I’ve said a few times in the past couple of months to expect The President to have a trade deal imposed on tier 2 Canada as a “take it or leave it” proposition, and that Canada being as it is, will reject it.

So, expect the worst from the imbeciles we’ve elected, and know that fast tracking AB/Sask separation is the way forward here in the west. I have no idea how those in the Atlantic provinces are going to feed themselves, nor do I care.
If future pronouncements from on high in the PMO are spread like the gosple truth by our MSM, know that every word the PMO or his garbage ministers say, has an expiry date, and a relatively clause which gets them out of things like “raising the military’s wage scale by 20% …

Expect lies, boldface lies, and fictions, all garbage all the time, from the #Libranos.

    1. “So, expect the worst from the imbeciles we’ve elected, and know that fast tracking AB/Sask separation is the way forward here in the west.”

Amen Brother! Amen! We’re in for a bumpy ride but the outcome will be worth it.
I will be speaking to my daughter tomorrow to remind her once again that she can return home from Ontario to a brighter future here in Alberta
There will be no referendum as events will overtake the need for one

  12. The digital service tax should piss Canadians off more than Donald because we know Netflix and the rest just pass it on.
Sure, a few people dump the service – and some die, oh well – but most of us pay it.
So where does the tax money go?
    Besides a Liberal friends wallet.
Probably to help some pure maple shyte TV program for the Women’s Network made in Almonte Ontario.
Written by fat lonely women, for fat lonely women.

  13. Faster.
    Harder.
    Flap those wings..
    Elbows Up!
    Chicken Dance..
The Carney is actually dumber than the Clown.
I agree, there will be no Separation referendum, events will force us into independence before 2026.

Eastern Canada basks in their deluded condition, they actually believe they are “superior” to Americans.
And infinitely smarter than any scuzzie Westerner.

That Canada is bankrupt, seems to just not register in Liberal Canada.
That we need to sell products abroad to be able to buy goods from outside Can Ahh Duh??
    Inconcevable.
    Just Not Sees everywhere.

  14. And lets not forget that the American taxpayer, vis au vis the US military, owns and controls all the internet protocols and DNS servers. The internet is merely on loan to the rest of the world and the US could shut down part or all of it at will and there is nothing you could do about it.

    1. And below Kate’s acerbic post …

      Miriam Delicado
Canada is about to feel serious financial and rapid collapse. @liberal_party and @MarkJCarney need to be removed as PM.

Time for a snap vote of confidence? Perhaps Pierre can pull his elbows in after all?

      1. “Time for a snap vote of confidence? Perhaps Pierre can pull his elbows in after all?”

We just aren’t smart enough for that, Kenji. I wish we were.

When the decline starts to become more obvious the Liberal Party will simply play the “It’s all Trump’s fault!” card. Canadian sheep will believe it, and Liberal support will go up.

  15. The tax in question will be passed on to the customers of these companies, and you get to pay HST on top of it.

So you can expect an increase of about 6.5% plus HST on your Netflix, Prime, etc.

  16. Anyone heard about ‘The Art of the Deal’? first make outrageous demands, second keep the pressure on by being unpredictable, thirdly negotiate with a panicked adversary. Milk? just a sector picked out of the air. It could be Canada uses non American standard Chinese takeout containers. (therefor their in the pocket of the CCP) Canada already has a trade agreement passed by their congress, don’t retaliate, go diplomatic, sue in their courts, talk to their news commentators and finally let me quote the front cover of the The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – ‘DON’T PANIC’

    1. “Anyone heard about ‘The Art of the Deal’? first make outrageous demands, second keep the pressure on by being unpredictable, thirdly negotiate with a panicked adversary.”

      EXACTLY.

I get why your average Liberal/NDP voter wouldn’t understand this…but our *entire* Canadian government? That’s appalling.

  17. At 14:40 She asks “are you going to try to persuade Trump to keep supporting Ukraine militarily”

He responds: “Yes, absolutely… We have a diaspora and there’s personal ties.”

Canada, with its minuscule military, having allowed its military to degrade with spending well below 2% of GDP for decades, has no business telling the USA, with its 5% of GDP going to the military, when to use it.

And Trump will not like hearing this public response. It’s offensive. The rest of NATO is finally realizing how offensive it is, because of Trump.

He should shut up until he has a leg to stand on.

  18. Carney and Amanour both insinuate that a Palestinian state is the only viable solution in the middle east.

    Complete BS.

It’s been proven the Palestinians do not want an independent state, many times over. It’s idiocy to claim otherwise at this point. What they want is to eradicate the Jewish state. They want to eliminate any non-Muslim state that exists on formerly Muslim lands. That was the goal in 1948 and that is the goal today. They have no interest in living side-by-side in peace.

  19. Liberals are empty suit talkers…nothing more. They always have been….lots of talk and feather preening, but nothing more.
