Well Steve H … great minds think alike … because I came here to type the same answer. And if you take the numbers of dead Gazans reported by the Gazan Ministry of Truth … the Co2 savings goes WAY UP!!

Greta, another climate justice warrior, made a special trip to Israel to protest the war with Gaza (apparently). What does a conflict between Israel and it’s hostile neighbours have to do with CO2 emissions? Nothing of course but clearly the ultra progressives are all singing from the same songbook. And since Israel is such an entrepreneurial country, they must be the enemy because entrepreneurs only thrive/exist in capitalist countries. More proof that the climate justice agenda is all about attacking capitalism and nothing to do with climate science. But we’ve been saying that for a long time.
I see it as a sign that it’s getting more difficult to raise money.
Awe c’mon man, the iranians are for saving Hamas and the planet from capitalism, wokeness and all-isms with nuclear enrichment!
By adding CO2, the Israelis are just Greening the Planet while also being good recyclers by composting Hamassholes.
“many entire countries”? Many countries wasn’t bad enough? Perhaps Iran should swap its concrete bunkers for more sustainable bamboo structures.
But if you want a morning laugh, Internet search the group of Gaza protestors who thought they could walk across the Egypt border. “We can do it in America”.
And Iran is clearly doing its part to reduce CO2 emissions so give the country a break.

This is not really that unusual for the Guardian. If you remember that they’re Communists then it isn’t shocking or surprising.
A Communist will tell -any- lie, no matter how despicable. It’s one of their defining characteristics. A Communist with scruples and some respect for his fellow countrymen isn’t a Communist anymore, he’s a Fascist.
As time has gone on, I’ve stopped subdividing those on “the left” into the various groups – progressives, communists, liberals, socialists, fascists, Nazis, etc. I find it as helpful as attempting to subdivide the various iterations of the LGBTQ+ movement. Normal people need only know enough from a “Know thine enemy” perspective.
All of the former are some flavor of totalitarian @ssholes attempting to force their beliefs onto others. All of the latter are some flavor of f@ggots.
And both somewhat overlap… hence the expression, “pinko commie faggot”.
Yeah I was wondering about that the other day when I was watching Iranian ballistic missiles impacting in Tel Aviv. The lack of any precision targeting probably improves their carbon footprint.
