1. I made it as far as the second Alex trying to tell us that they had a ‘deal’ with the Iranians and Trump just tore it up. Your ‘deal’ was just as good as the one Bill Clinton made with North Korea, and we all know how that worked out.

   The much-vaunted 2015 ‘deal’ with Iran was utterly worthless:

   Without the ability to do snap inspections *anywhere in the country*, you are relying on the honesty and integrity of the Iranian government…and we already know about the practice of ‘taqiyya’ even if they didn’t already have a track record of being liars.

   I say get it over with. Take out Fordow, let the people take back their country and be done with this mess. 50 years of terrorizing your own people and the entire Middle East is long enough, not mention robbing the country blind; the mullahs apparently have *billions* of dollars hidden away in offshore bank accounts.

It’s been reported for years in magazines like PEOPLE that the children and grandchildren of the mullah class live it up on the Riviera, frequenting nude beaches, casinos and driving high-end sports cars. I seem to remember that Yassar Arafat’s wife and daughter lived it up in Paris while he blackmailed the West and wasn’t the Hamas leadership living it up in luxury hotel suites in Qatar? The Ayatollah & friends should worry that many Iranian citizens are aware of how the Romanians handled the power change in 1989.

         Arafat died a billionaire (not bad for a guy who never had a real job). The three top Hamas guys in Qatar are also billionaires (but the ‘Palestinian’ people live in poverty, right?)…

   2. Yeah … lower right hand corner guy made me turn off this “sane” discussion. John F. Kerry was such a master negotiator that his Iran Deal did nothing but ENSURE Iran would develop nuclear weapons. And then even attempting to compare HER trustworthiness with PDJT’s was the final straw. Yes, SHE truly IS the Great Satan … whereas Trump will simply rain hellfire down on the enemies of America. Not the same thing.

      1. Clearly something needs done. A classic example of a Hobbesian choice with no option to choose wisely and coupled with Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t. I rather doubt if even the omnipresent omniscient Supreme Consciousness might have an answer. A Gordian knot if ever there was one. Thomas Sowell once remarked that “There no solutions; only trade-offs.” Something to ponder…

I’m certain all the strangely silent Muslim Middle Eastern countries can’t wait for the Ayatollahs to be chased back to Paris. Isn’t that where Jimmy Carter resurrected the Ayatollah Khomeini?

2. Any discussion about the Middle East that is “sane” means they don’t know what the hell they are talking about. There is nothing sane about it, never has been.

5. There are a number of reports online that the Lavizan military district in Tehran has been subjected to bunker buster bombing from the IDF. Black smoke is reported. The Ayatollah sbd family are reputed to be in a bunker in that district. Nothing has been confirmed.

He starts by describing a situation in the middle east that is very familiar and contemporary. Then he gets specific about names and actors and you realize he’s talking about the time the Romans were involved. The best thing anybody can do is stay away from that place and avoid this place becoming like that.
