The Pfizer vaccine went through the three testing phases required by the USFDA. It’s a matter of public record. Further, their vaccine was later subject to numerous large-scale controlled trials by independent institutions, who dutifully published their results. Again, it’s public record.
And by the way, Housefather did NOT say that the Pfizer vaccine was not tested. He said the testing was expedited, which was true, but does not mean the testing was inadequate. Honest to god, check things for yourself before you post. Don’t just parrot any smear you hear on the internet.
So, on one hand the band of merry folks here believe that vaccine companies were frothing at the mouth to unleash poorly understood vaccines on the masses, but we should also believe that at least one of these companies, after seeing positive study data, decided that profit could wait because partisan interests took priority even if it meant risking being first to market and losing billions of dollars. Since these two positions are basically contradictory, I compel the locals to pick one.

Of the 21,720 persons getting the jabs 8 got covid.
Of the 21,728 getting the placebos 162 got covid.
But the more interesting data is:
Of the 8 jabbed and infected there was one serious case, for a percentage of 12.5.
Of the 162 placeboed there were 9 serious cases, for a percentage of 5.6.
Conclusion: the covid virus was over-hyped as being super deadly.

My point is Pfizer developed and trialed a product that wasn’t necessary, yet promoted it as a lifesaver.

That’s a mistranslation of the results. A proper translation would be…
If you got the vaccine, you were 16 times less likely to get COVID, and 9 times less likely to get a serious case of COVID.
The ratio of overall cases of COVID to serious cases of COVID is of less interest.
KM, of the 43,448 persons in the trial only 170 or 0.75% got infected by covid and the vast majority of them had no serious symtoms.
Those results translate into the fact that the so-called pandemic essentially amounted to a nothing burger.
No so-called vaxxes were necessary.
The reason there were so few cases of COVID reported is presumably because…
1. The reporting period for cases of COVID was only one month in the Phase 3 trials, and…
2. The various trials making up phase 3 were between July and November, 2020, when there were relatively few COVID cases worldwide. COVID didn’t reach its peak until March 2022.
