    1. I’m sorry to say this, but…
Yes, Ezra followed all the rules, but however you see it, by his own admission, he did directly involve himself in the election, thus opening himself to some valid criticism.
I’m not suggesting that I disagree with Ezra’s actions. We need to somehow balance the scales, and kudos to Ezra for finding a loophole in Canadian law, but having said that, we have to acknowledge that the opposition is not going to be happy with what they perceive as the media scrum getting hijacked.
Fine by me. Still, now that the cat is out of the bag, Ezra may have some difficulty in the future trying to navigate around the rules to gain future access to political events.

    1. Lmfao you sheep will believe anything.

Why did the DOJ publish an “interview sheet” (whatever that is) full of speculation?

Why did the DOJ publish rulings that were later overturned, causing them to be completely irrelevant?

Why did the DOJ admit in court it was a mistake to deport him?

Why did SCOTUS rule 9-0 against the Trump administration?

Why are they now engaging in character assassination of Garcia and the justice system?

Answer: Trump is using this case to challenge SCOTUS. They may have even purposely botched their case in court.

      1. Well, that’s YOUR answer AllanS, but it isn’t mine.
So what are you suggesting? that Garcias IS NOT a member of MS13?
Because when you bring up that the Trump administration is “now engaging in character assassination of Garcia…,” that is precisely what it appears that you are suggesting.
Your arguments are based purely on procedure. The fact is that Garcia was processed through the legal system, and was ordered deported. Why would you want to bring him back in, only to get deported again?
        Case close.

        1. The only time he was ordered deported was in 2019. Those decisions were stayed then overturned. Read the documents. You’re 6 years behind.

He may be a member lf ms13. If he is, it would be easy to prove that in court and get his “witholding” designation removed. So why didn’t they?

SCOTUS agreed 9-0 that he is not a member.

          1. Yeah, you responded to my criticism in a more recent thread.
Still doesn’t make it (or you) right.

What about the domestic abuse allegations?

Show me where SCOTUS said that he is not a member of MS-13? I’ll bet my mortgage that there may be a little something in that judgement that eludes to saying something like his alleged membership in MS-13 is not supported by the evidence. Do I win?

So he was ordered deported! So please explain why the order was overturned, and by which court. You may find what I am eluding to when you disclose that info.

    1. And Robert … I’m old school Eagles … so hearing bassist Randy Meisners falsetto vocal harmonies live is a joy to my ear … as is the beautiful lead riff by Bernie Leadon. This was when the Eagles were pure country/folk/rock … their perfect sweet spot.

And you gotta have the song’s co-writer Jackson Browne onstage. And everyone’s pass-around girlfriend, Linda Ronstadt … “sooo HOT! Want to touch her heiny!”

      1. Robert … watch and listen to Meisners high pitch vocals on the line you like about girls checking you out in Winslow, AZ … he and Glen Frey are perfectly harmonizing … but it’s Meisners tone that totally MAKES the song. So AMAZING to see him sing that live.

Not to worry … because Fil gets it. Really gets it. Meisner was a treasure.

TIP: instead of worrying about Chametz, how about you plan on a Special Spring by voting Conservative. If not, getting a Possession and Acquisition Licence.
    Or both!
    Ziessen Pesach!

  2. This is funny. The girls on Blue Origin conducted research during their 4 minutes in space. Redacted … while riding in a “man-pod”.

As always, the comments are golden. “@jasongeyser says … If 4 minutes in space makes you an astronaut, then I’m a gynecologist.”

    1. I’m reminded of something I saw while I was in the Montreal area more than 40 years ago. I was waiting for my plane back to Edmonton at Dorval Airport and I noticed someone who had set up a table in the main lobby. At the front, he had a sign: “Help colonize space. Send Ed Broadbent to Pluto.”

In view of the flight by those “astronauts”, who conducted “research”, I’d say he was a man ahead of his time.
