1. That was very interesting. I enjoy languages, and I am proficient in two, can read Spanish and Italian, and count French as a… one third, German as one quarter and I am working on Russian, just for the heck of it. Just to keep the brain busy, I would say! So. My issue with the Russian right now is: I can understand many of the words and sentences I hear and their meaning (I am still on a very elementary level, though!), and I can match say 80 to 90% of the spoken words to the written Cyrillic. But when I am presented with Cyrillic alone, I struggle to make sense of what’s written. But I’ll get there!
