“Burn it all Down”

…a serial trade and human rights violator that with the help of decades of corrupt politicians from both parties polluted, price-dumped, and stole its way to a generation of American jobs and revenue, now owns so much of our debt that we must put up with its shit indefinitely. That’s the point of view of our own federal news agency. We have officially cucked ourselves past the point of no return.

Trump or no Trump, the international trade system needs to be blown to hell

  1. Western Civilization hollowed out the base layers of our economies and sent them to China and other lesser nations. These are nor just low level jobs that are unworthy, uninteresting, or uninspiring. They are the necessary foundation for many of the higher level industries that created out prosperity.

Where are our steel mills, our textiles, our consumer goods manufacturing. The base level industries make a prosperous working class that can afford better things. By seeking ever cheaper foreign goods, we undercut our own workers and cheapened their existence. Look at out citizens. On average, they no longer aspire to be better, but become coarser and more miserable.

    1. We are only richer for outsourcing those jobs. Now the West is free to focus on high-end manufacturing and lucrative services.

  2. Americans have proven to be the most innovative people in the world, the little people in this place weren’t far behind them until they decided to politicize every last industry and job.

But anyhow, would it take long for Americans to figure out ways to produce everything they buy from china? No, it would not, and it would likely be of better quality.

Base chemicals for fentanyl are probably the only thing that china ensures meet a standard anyhow…

  3. When the debt is small, the banker owns the debtor.

When the debt is large, the debtor owns the banker.

    Trump owns Xi.

A Trump executive order that all American debt to China or Chinese is nullified will hurt the USA but destroy China.

  4. Nothing wrong with profit, but when greed rules, some people lose jobs while others upgrade their yachts.
Re-locating the factory so you can employ strangers and people who hate you, instead of neighbors who share common values, means you are UnMe.

  5. When the US is wealthier than it has ever been and wealthier than every other industrialized countries with just a few exceptions, there doesn’t seem to be much of a real world problem. Unemployment is as low as it’s ever been in recent history. If the US wants a middle class, all it has to do is restrict imports to drive up wages, protect a few strategic industries, and let them pick fruit in Brazil. Let Brazil be poor.

  6. ” The tariffs send a message:

We are happy to defend you, and to trade with you on fair terms, but you must choose between China and us.

We cannot rely on our defense umbrella while protecting your markets from our goods and helping to enrich China.

You can try to cut a deal with the Chinese, but they couldn’t defend you even if they wanted to, and they will moreover flood your markets with cheap goods and annihilate your domestic industries.

So maybe you should consider buying a few more Fords. ”

    1. Defense? Canada was at war for 2 to 3 years in both world wars before the US woke up. It’s the US showing up and not bailing out that I would be worried about. The US trades maybe 10 times with China than Canada does yet Canada is a problem. Ignorant fool.

      1. When I’m wrong I will admit it. The US trades 11 times as much with China than Canada does yet Canada is a problem? Ignorant fool. And the US has still bailed out on 100% of military allies in the last 80 years yet Canada is not a trusted ally?.

  7. No it doesn’t, Matt Taibi and his fans should just STFU and keep their hands to themselves and away from my right to buy goods from China. Don’t tread on me.
