    1. Yes. Biden was right: Trump’s election would end democracy in America. The prospect of Canadians controlling America is riotously funny. The oppression of making restaurants put poutine on the menu!

  1. You have to take a step back and realize just how this evolved. Right now is a unique (perhaps unprecedented) time in the US. The Left hasn’t a leader to rally around. The Non-Player Characters (NPC’s) that make up the Left have no one to tell them what to think, say or do. So they are looking elsewhere (hence, Carney).

No one wants to step up on the Left because all the chosen ones have skeletons in the closet. Nasty, illegal, immoral skeletons. And, the moment someone tries to throw their hat into the ring, DOGE and the Congressional Investigative Committees are going to focus on that individual. They’ll find something, and that person’s future will be worth a plug nickel in politics. So they are all keeping a low profile. As a result, it seems hopeless and chaotic for the Left. They have no idea what to do. In truth, it’s hilarious. They’ve turned to the Leftist Gnome up in Canada because he’s in the news, talking tough, and on the Left.

    1. Just keep reminding them it’s really China they are dealing with.. As we are!

    2. Trump really broke the Democrats.
He endured all their attacks and actions, and WON.
They just don’t know what to do anymore, other than flagellate and demonstrate their inner spoiled child. Just like tEaM CaNaDuh at the moment.

  2. Leftists?
    Stop with the euphemisms.
    Let’s call a spade a spade.
    They’re Marxists.
If you think anything other than that they’re your mortal enemy, then you deserve your fate.
They need to be dealt with once and for all, from the primary schools, through to the universities and the bureaucracies.
Think that’s hyperbole, then you deserve your fate.

  3. eastern canadians are such a small petty horrible people. they never disappoint

  4. Evidently Canada has been placed under the “legal” guardianship … of an unelected WEF enthusiast. A whack job is running your orphanage. You think Residential Schools had mass graves? Just wait till this Marxist headmaster is finished with you … mountains of skulls.

  5. Guardianship, like Brittany Spears ?

I’d expect American gun owners to pour across the border, looking to “open season” on everyone and anyone employed in tier 2 Canada’s government.

  6. The only thing I support right now is the Blind Trustee being forced to sell off all the stocks that Carney has, and invest in Canada Savings Bonds.

  7. I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy…

Radical leftists want to find another “competent adult” like Joe Biden?

  8. I guess I wont be getting my 3 dollar block of cheese and a handgun after all.. I suppose American leftists are enthralled with the idea of bad policy without taint of dementia on it.. But then again autopen Canada is not really a real country.. Its a Constitutional Monarchy.. A colony of loyal subjects with all power in the governments hands..

I guess that’s why the American leftists believe the grass is greener.. They would be wrong..

    1. In Canada you are free to do as you’re told, and you are free to vote Liberal.

All other options are either discouraged or outright banned.

  9. I thought the second Trump presidency wouldn’t be bad. The first term was okay — some things I liked, some I didn’t. On the whole it was reasonable, and America prospered under those years until the COVID pandemic hit.

But Trump’s second term is lunacy. His tariffs — threatened and actual — are manic. He talks constantly of annexing Canada and Greenland, neither of which is going to happen. He wants to replace personal income tax with tariffs, a suggestion that doesn’t withstand even basic calculations. He scornfully dismisses international agreements that he signed into law in his first term, apparently unaware of who he’s insulting. His comments are littered with factual inaccuracies that are trivially refutable. He constantly makes cheap personal remarks about heads of state, even — or especially — of (previously) friendly nations. He aligns with one of the worst tyrants in the world.

And given Trump’s age, it’s likely only going to get worse.

    1. Unitl 1913, everything in America was paid by tarrifs. There was no income tax until liberals wanted to play war in Europe.

        1. Women should never have had the vote in the first place. And income tax is outright theft, and attacks productivity, instead of spending.

          1. Women had to be given the vote so that the Wyoming Territory could qualify to become a State. Naturally, the Wyoming self-image spin machine portrays it differently.

          2. I’ll just stand clear and video while you explain to women that they shouldn’t have the vote.

          3. PeterPaul: You lost me when you asserted that women should have never been given the right to vote.

As for you, KM, comparing the replacing one financial structure with another to women not having the right to vote is a false equivalence.

There are certain aspects of life in the early 1900’s that are actually more desirable to today… Such as morals, and family values. Decency, and the golden rule were also paramount in those days. Sure there was bad behavior, but those individuals were committed to the fringes, and not part of the mainstream. Western society was not nearly as corrupt as it is today.

There’s good and bad in every generation. You can’t use that point to argue against tariffs replacing income tax. Income tax is theft. Plain and simple. The government should not have the right to garnish your earnings. What you earn should be yours, and yours alone, not the state.

    2. So, back-stabbing “best” friends like Canada should never have to have their actions confronted and dealt with, lest we show our further utter contempt for honesty on the home-front.

We will be crushed and deservedly so. Canada buried China and Cartel cat turds in America’s sandbox.

Sadly, the economic destruction-to-come is also part of the larger “Liberal” plan for this particular industrialized “post-nation.” The only thing one can trust of a true “Canadian” is to pretend we’re angels is all earthly matters.

      Don’t believe me? Ask one.

      1. Yup, so full of themselves it’s sickening.
Maybe there are magic sunglasses you can buy so you know which Canadians you can give a sht about.

      2. Every nation has deficiencies, even, or especially, the United States.

The way you deal with them is negotiation, not kicking them in the teeth.

    3. “He scornfully dismisses international agreements that he signed into law in his first term…”

That’s Trump correcting certain mistakes he made (just like picking resolute loyalists for his second team versus his first, mostly back-stabbing team).

“He constantly makes cheap personal remarks about heads of state, even — or especially — of (previously) friendly nations.”

Certain heads of state deserve absolutely no respect. Respect needs to be earned, yet those clowns keep doubling down on stupid.

“He aligns with one of the worst tyrants in the world.”

He hasn’t aligned with Putin, he’s in negotiations with him to end a major conflict.

      1. “Certain heads of state deserve absolutely no respect. Respect needs to be earned, yet those clowns keep doubling down on stupid.”

I look back at Ronald Reagan, one of the truly great presidents, and see a man who built bridges. Trump is ripping them down. The president who comes after him will have to spend an enormous amount of time repairing them.

          1. He leaves a wake of destruction behind him.

Further, many of the those problems are not yet fixed.

          2. @ KM:
“…many of the those problems are not yet fixed.”

Goodness… He’s only been in office for a little under 6 weeks!!!
And yes, many problems still exist, but look at what was accomplished in that little a time frame.
Through DOGE, he found TRILLIONS in fraud and waste.
He STOPPED the illegal invasion at the southern border, and despite efforts from the deep state, the infiltrators are being returned back to their countries of origin.
He’s mediating an end to an insane war that should have never started in the first place.
Hostages (dead and alive) held captive by Hamas are being released.
He’s ended (just about) the insanity of men competing against women in women’s sports.
And most of all, he’s broken the democrats.
And there’s more to come, I’m sure. Trump has accomplished more in the 6 weeks he’s been in office than Biden has done in his entire 4 year administration. Now we’re finding out that Biden may have not even been in charge of running the country.

As for the so-called “destruction,” You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. There’s going to be short-term pain for sure, but you’d expect to take medicine that will cure you, even though you know it will be painful. Just ask Chemotherapy patients who survived both the treatment and the disease.

    4. The disconnect for you is that leftists don’t understand how to properly negotiate anything, so Trump’s style of talk is beyond your comprehension.

For example, Dems try to portray European now promising to handle their own defense as a rebuke of Trump due to his rhetoric, when that is the outcome he has been pushing them towards all along.

Your ignorance of what the “annexing Canada and Greenland” talk is intended to (and will) accomplish is another example.

        1. I don’t know you well enough to judge you, KM, so I don’t know if you’re a leftist or not, but the history of your posts would suggest that you are not a conservative. If I’m wrong, I would apologize to you, but I would insist that you provide clear indications of why you would believe that you are a conservative.
However, I am in full agreement with you that Trump is also not a conservative. Trump was beloved by Democrats (when the party was still sane) back in the 90’s and the 2000’s. Even Oprah, Joy, and Whoopie loved the man back then. He even had the Clintons attend his wedding.
But what Trump has done was indeed inspiring, bringing factions of democrats (the sane ones), uniting with Republicans to truly establish a big-tent party that sides with a solid majority on nearly every issue, leaving the demon-rats defending the side of a very loose, morally vapid minority.

No one was more surprised than I was when he famously rode down that escalator way back in the early 2010’s to announce that he was entering the world of politics… as a Republican.

    5. Well Km , Speaking of ” His comments are littered with factual inaccuracies that are trivially refutable.” Just when in the last 8 years has the Canadian government been “friendly” to Trump or his presidency? And sure you bracketed previously, but the vitriol started the moment he started to seriously run. If our government had fostered a working relationship with Trump this trainwreck wouldn’t be happening.

      1. Did the Canadian government ever throw personal insults at Trump until perhaps the last month or so?

If so, give me an example.

        1. Where does the Turd’s bemoaning that America didn’t elect a woman, AGAIN, fall into your defense of the feckless CDN gov’t?

That comes after election, before Trump said a thing about annexation or tariffs.

          1. That’s it? That’s all you got? It wasn’t even a direct insult on Trump, but rather Trudeau’s take on the America voter.

And it was done AFTER Trump referred to Trudeau as the governor of the 51st state.

        2. So that’s all YOU got KM?
Trump is destroying the country with his insults?

Yes, world leaders are going to get upset. So what! Trump’s shaking things up, and we need someone of Trumps strength and resolve to shake things up a bit with the establishment status quo.

It’s the only way you’re going to expose the rot.

          1. Yes, the Killer has been watching this shit for the last ten years, just like the rest of us. He knows he’s lying.

    1. The LGBTQueers have got their man … or whatever that Marxist identifies as. Pathetic pandering.

    2. The actual acknowledgement that Canadian values are based on Woke ideologies is disturbing, but not at all surprising.
Just to hear our so-called PM acknowledge that obvious reality is a real demoralizer.

  10. I’d like to see them try and march on Washington to place America under Guardianship. That should be amusing for a few minutes.

    1. Not amusing. Without orders, the unorganized militia would end the attempt with an unfortunate bloodbath. The only amusement would be watching the Canadian Army or whatever you are calling it these days trying to figure out why there are more rifles aimed at them than their entire incursiony force.

  11. Delusions of adequacy.
Our Progressive Comrades have no time for reality nor reason.
Thousands of Ugly little naked Emperors, marching their imaginary armies off to victory.
They are shrieking and flinging faeces, cause Bad Orange Man told them the truth.

    They are impotent.
    No wealth.
    No Army.
    No brains.
In other words Can Ahh Duh.

  12. Yes, Americans look with envy at the type of leadership we’ve had the past 9 years. Trudeau enjoys boundless admiration and espect from all Americans men I’ve met. Women want to have his baby.

  13. The Canadian geese are cooked, they just don’t know it yet. If the current U.S. admin gets 50% of what it wants to get done to support the U.S. economy and return manufacturing (this includes getting all of our trading partners to lower tariffs to match our own on their goods) and Canada does not participate, they will go into a depression far beyond any prior experience. A sad truth it is, but the U.S. economy does not need that of Mexico or Canada to revive or prosper, they in turn absolutely do need this market to survive. Oh, and China is going to find itself in a similar position economically due to the inefficiencies of centralized planning. BTW how is that trade tiff with China going for Canada at the moment? I hear the farmers are in a tight spot.

    1. Glad I didn’t invest in Canada. I hated that punk Trudeau, and based on the petty pathetic jingoism and insults of the Canadians elsewhere, and on this blog, I made the right call. I’ll invest elsewhere.

  14. I get that its a joke but I would like to take the opportunity to remind Canada that *we still have our guns*.

And I’m pretty sure we have more men – just men – than Canada has people;)
