1. Americans should be thankful that so many friends, neighbors and strangers don’t like communism/statism – “socialism”.
   Canadians embrace socialism like a dog who can’t help but bite the porcupine.

   (Decades ago I helped a friend pull dozens and dozens of quills out of his black lab. I did the chest and he did the mouth.)

   One country is battling an inner demon.
   One has a mouth full of quills and no one to pull them out.

2. Thank you for posting The Sunday Prayer – I have always believed in an “attitude of gratitude”.
   As to some of the other postings about Muslims, I rented the movie “Citizen Vigilante” last night from Prime Video. It has been banned in Germany and the UK, but is available for streaming on Prime Video and you have also posted about Elon Musk having it up on his X account. All the events in the movie which the vigilante takes care of, I have read in the news. The gang rapes, the random stabbings in the neck of white people by migrants, the incredible rise in migrant crime, the culpability of corrupt judges, ALL have been in the news. As a 74 year old white woman, I am totally fed up with the bad behaviour of “migrants”.
   In the movie, the establishment blames the trauma of young migrant men growing up in war torn zones. Based on that definition, all the Jewish people who survived the death camps should have gone on to be criminals. Instead, they got on with their lives, married, had families and opened businesses. I also apply this reasoning to the crap about the trauma of residential schools on Canada’s indigenous population.
   I have had bad things happen to me, granted not as terrible as the death camps. It happens, and you grow up, mature and develop “situational awareness” to avoid trauma AND you learn how to deal with it.

3. Today Lord Carney burns jet fuel to Toronto for the gay sex parade. No word on whether his trans daughter is going with him.

   1. In a related story … the San Francisco Gay sex Parade is being televised as though it is the Thanksgiving Day Parade or the New Years Day Rose Parade. Sick. Disgusting and Sick in every way.

      Thanksgiving is a day for EVERYONE to celebrate; Harvest and Thankfulness to God and family..
      The New Years Parade is the same UNIVERSAL Celebration of the start of a new year.

      The gay perversion parade is the most divisive, exclusive, celebration of a tiny minority of people that exists on the planet. But the gays push it like the Ayatollah pushes his SICK theology of death and destruction. And anyone who speaks out against it gets CANCELLED.

   1. And if I may be so bold as to add to VDH … I believe it’s the rich kids pushing Socialism because they actually BELIEVE “The American Dream is dead”. Nope. No it’s not. But it’s hard. And requires industriousness, discipline and intelligence. Always has, always will. So they don’t believe they will ever achieve what mommy and daddy achieved.

      But that price of entry baffles and angers the instant-gratification generation. Never before in history have you been able to see the lifestyles of the rich and powerful instantly in the palm of your hand. So, the kids have an utterly skewed concept of what the American Dream actually is. Pssst … it’s not yachts and bitches in bikinis, yo. And it’s never been Envy (which is mentioned several times in the 10 Commandments re: coveting).

      Nope. It’s quiet accumulation and denial of multiple selfish impulses. But the gimme gimme gimme Gen. doesn’t ‘like’ that about The American Dream. They demand the nicest house in the nicest neighborhood… immediately! And if they can’t have that … it must be capitalism’s fault. And yeah … that’s what they’ve been taught throughout ALL their school years … along with the nihilism of CAGW.
