      2024 – Biden wins crooked primaries but people did vote for him. Then he debates Trump and the world knows he’s a vegetable so the Communist Dems yank him and place Kamala Harris, daughter of Communist professor, in his place that no one voted for in a primary.

      2025 – Canada’s Left does roughly the same with Carney.

      By the way, that’s a pretty white, elderly crowd. I’m an American and go to Calgary a lot and that is NOT representative of Calgary these days at all. Walk downtown or go to the Chinook Mall and it looks totally different.

  5. I know I’ve beat this drum here many times before but here goes – one more time.

    What we are seeing here is the corruption of political parties on open display. They could care less about citizens, the country or if they are in violation of the Constitution. It’s so bad that in Canada your local elected MP is not beholden to the voters, their fealty is to the Party. They answer to them. Nothing matters – it’s all about The Party.

    All parties in democracies are absolutely corrupt when it comes to their self interest. The Liberal Party of Canada has perfected this system.

    Party corruption will be the end of democracy.

      I just can believe people especially those with kids , put up with it.
      Because the corruption I think starts from the top, and seeps down into society one institution at a time.

  6. Democracy is a disgusting word. Democracy is a terrible form of government. 51% of Canadians can vote to steal the 49%’s money or take their “rights” away. God given inalienable rights are the only true form of freedom and liberty as was set up in the US at the founding. The word “democracy “ is not used once in the US Constitution. Of course Canada went full bore kissing the Kings boots while the US spit in his face for taxing their tea too much. We put up with way too much bullshit from our shitty government. Canada is too far gone. Way too many dumb climate and identity policies to be a serious country. Trump is so right.

    1. I’m beginning to wish for a republic similar to the US, if not join the US altogether, but I know, that’s just a pipe dream.
      The only way out of this mess is to scrap the entire country’s system of government, and start over, this time, getting it right.
      Maybe that’s a pipe dream too. In which case, we have no real alternative.

    1. So what you’re saying here is, back in 2017 in the federal CPC leadership race, and back in 2011 in the Alberta Conservative party leadership race, the parties should have rejected all the airdropped members votes, even though they’d joined through proper channels? I like your thinking…

      Hopefully that federal election comes in March and the Marx Carnage Liberals win a majority. Anything less is just dragging out the inevitable.

      I’ve met many honest politicians. People who unselfishly give of themselves to a cause they believe in.

      I’m not talking about individual politicians I’m taking about Party apparatus. The backroom boys and girls. The guys who finance the game in order to game it. The influencers who are motivated. That’s where the corruption hides. Out of sight.

It is my understanding that in the parliamentary system, one does not vote directly for the prime minister in the same way US citizens vote for the president – one votes for an MP, so there is really no question of a “right” to vote for the prime minister. If you are speaking as a member of the Liberal Party, then I would assume your “rights” within that party are determined by the party.
    I do however, agree that some sort of coronation is in process!

  11. As far as the Liberals are concerned they think that since it works for the Democrats in America then it should work for them in Canada. Think Bernie Sanders and the mechanations that happened to keep him out of office.

    Years ago it was the elected representatives with the majority of seats in the House after the election that decided who would be the leader by a vote on the floor. Why we think that we need a leader to vote for at the constituancy level is a by-product of trying to copy American system. Perhaps if we returned to the older system we wouldn’t have as many useless idiots running the country since they would be weeded out at every election.

  13. Despite signing up as a “Liberal member”, I have yet to receive anything to cast my ballots for The Ghoul and Freepig.

    Maybe I have been moved to the ‘not a real liberal’ list as I haven’t donated a single penny them despite EVERY SINGLE email from them is begging for my money.

  14. Every leadership election is rigged. The haggard Stephenson shenanigans in Manitoba, the PP installation using Brown and Charest to overshadow Leslyn Lewis, the Trudeau nomination nonsense, Stanfield showdown, etc and on and on……….

    If you think you’re living in a free country, you couldn’t be more wrong. You have no rights as a free citizen, you are subjects of the crown and it’s appointments.

    1. How does that explain contests that go beyond a 1st ballot victory? Like When Stephen Dion won on the 3rd beating Ignatieff and Bob Rae among others. Or Joke Lark winning on the 5th ballot? Think the fix was in?

      I agree that the backroom has hand picked Carney and they also picked Iggy in 2009 cuz he was the smartest guy in the room. Every room.

    Dear #Liberals. You have no idea the freight of woe that awaits you. I have it on good authority that people are too broke to buy painkillers these days. Businesses that were running just fine for 20-30 years are crashing and burning all over the place right now.

    No one is looking to the #Liberals for answers. Everyone is pointing the finger at #Liberals because we all know who caused this train wreck. #Liberals did. Deliberately. With malice, forethought and intent.

    Your provincial counterparts couldn’t even beat #BlubberDouggie, the obviously crooked idiot who everyone hates because of Covid.
