    1. I’m just curious … and perhaps someone of East Indian extraction here on SDA can enlighten me … but how long would it take the Indian government to execute these two Fentanyl traffickers, Kunwardeep Singh, and Swati Narula, if they did this in India?

      Days? Weeks?

Is there a Fentanyl crisis in India? Why not?

  1. Unless the internet is lying this translates to about $2,225,000 of fentanyl. So you release the guy on $25K bail? This country is a freaking joke.

  2. And yet Tamara Lich is still waiting for her day in court on charges of mischief, after being dragged into court in chains and leg irons. The message from the judges seems to be that fentanyl is OK but peaceful protests are bad. We need to smack the Canadian judiciary upside the head to get their attention, and then ask them to enforce the law evenly and without prejudice. I’m sure the RCMP officers who busted Singh are wondering why they bother.

    1. She was denied bail for weeks. Weren’t the Coutts protestors also denied bail for weeks or months? Or did they ever get bail?

The message from Ottawa is simple; we don’t really care if citizens are victims of crime, those thugs we’ll release on bail any time. But protest against us? Your betters? Your masters? We’re locking your hide up as long as we freaking can, because we freaking can. We’ve got the power, serfs, and don’t you dare forget it.

    2. When the ruling class feels threatened, it is a whole different ballgame. They have the power and the means to destroy.

      1. “They have the power and the means to destroy.”
Yet there are many people who call themselves conservative who think that giving these aholes the power to legally kill people is a great idea.

  3. When I see a blanket publication ban on details of a case, I generally think the #Libranos are either part of the investigation, or the accused are part of the #Libranos most favored groups.

If I knew the details, everyone would know the details, and their home address, and the address of the surety.
I think it’s important to know if your neighbors have a role in selling $millions of illegal drugs with a high expectation of death.

As well, if one was to go for a coffee near the recent multiple murders (4) in rural Sask. case where one of the accused is a 14 years old, one would learn of more details than the media is willing to share.

  4. Does Killer Marmot have any comment on this story?

One could conclude from this that the feds are a drug cartel, why else would the federal police force have let the guy go? I’m sure this will help make the Americans feel secure about the state of law and order in the failed state to their north.

  5. Looks like compressed cotton candy to me!

Wasn’t there a Singh truck driver nabbed at one of the Ontario border crossings recently carrying a load of ‘good stuff’ into the country? Wonder if they’re related?

Canada’s gov’t. should really start acting more seriously.

And just a heads up: are you vetting the Gazans you’re letting in? Are you going to make sure they stay in your country? I should hope so.

  7. I’m surprised the headline didn’t read “Calgary man granted bail in fentanyl case”. 17.5 lbs. of fentanyl found – but remember we are told by the media and government that only about 40 lbs. have been seized at the border last year. It makes you wonder just how much is getting through.
