  1. A declaration of independence for Alberta, from an Ontario law professor

It needs to happen. It will undoubtedly be tumultuous, but it is long past due
I wish I were in a better financial position to weather the potential upheaval. But then again, if I was in a better financial position, I probably would have left canaduh a long time ago.
Unfortunately, there are many, many people that are in a far more difficult position than me. Carney will make sure they’re finally finished off

    1. I feel like that Washington quote should be on a monument somewhere in Alberta.

      Great read, thx for posting.

    2. Thanks for the link. Well written and I hope it’s widely shared in Alberta and beyond.

Steve Bannon just announced to the War Room Posse that their efforts exerted through phone calls, texts and emails have upended the MSM/Democrat/RINO declarations that Hegseth, Gabbard, Kennedy and Patel “are dead in the water” 6 weeks ago. Patel vote coming soon.

    3. “Canadians from around the country who share our sentiments may wish to move to Alberta to join us in this journey.”

I heard the calling 5 years ago when the covid nonsense woke me up. I finally made it. I’m already here, and settling in quite nicely, thank you very much.

  2. Re Spinal Tap: Bought the album after I saw the movie when I was a kid. Great stuff!! (even if meathead is in it)

    1. Just last night m wife and I were just discussing some of our favourite scenes from this movie. And JB, you’re right about the music. Pretty darn good for a satire.

    1. Oh, everybody who speaks two languages does this. It’s one of the reasons why you learn two languages.

    1. Monica Blowinsky, Ken Gee’s gurlfren?
      Say it isn’t so.
Poor Ken Gee, will now have to find a new GF.

I knew BLOWinsky was a Trump hating Joo, but not that she was Moosad asset

  3. “Question: We are talking about the crimes of neo-Nazis in Ukraine, maybe it is time to start saying directly that these are US crimes in Ukraine?

Answer: I think even the White House is already talking about this. We have always emphasized that those who created the Kiev regime, who sponsored it, who supplied it with weapons, who were the tipsters and accomplices in the terrorist attacks, cannot be called anything else. We talk about this all the time. I am now talking only about briefings. But look: all the statements of our country, all the interviews of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our specialized experts revealed the essence of what is happening. Literally with figures, facts on their hands, they paid attention to this.”

Seems like there are going to be quite a few simultaneous Nuremberg 2.0 events happening simultaneously.

    1. Russians have documented the crimes. They will be asking for war criminals to be handed over. Otherwise no deal.
Deal or no deal, Zelensky is dead man walking.
If the Russians don’t get him, family of those 46,000 dead Ukies (offical Ukie #) will.
With a 10:1 kill ratio in favour of Ukies, still best money ever spent.

      1. What crimes? Maybe when civilian deaths dropped to 25 a year in the Donbas after Zelenskyi became president and had an agreement with Putin?

The Russian war crimes are overwhelming. They’re not even hiding it any more.

        1. The hint that Trump would invite Putin to America and Putin would invite Trump to Russia is a sign – no crimes. That is not even on the negotiating table.
          1. What land does Russia keep?
          2. Who pays to rebuild Ukraine?
          3. Ukraine cannot join NATO.
          4. Trade between Russia-USA and the disassembly of BRICS.

          1. I’m afraid the BRICS toothpaste will never be put back into the tube.

How can any country plan on trusting the US when the Presidency changes every 4 or 8 years and prior agreements might be shredded?

        2. “What crimes?”

The ones you and your ilk keeping turning a blind eye toward, desperately hoping no one will notice.

        1. “I love watching the Soros/WEF fanboys overdose on copium.”

Me too. Too bad that so many Ukrainians had to die before the grownups stepped in and put a stop to their fun (and profits), though.

    2. The Ukes started the war. They initiated the invasion of their own country.

It’s true. Trump just said it.

      1. “The Ukes started the war. They initiated the invasion of their own country.”

They certainly helped (as did the EU), by their refusal to stop the ongoing ‘ethnic cleansing’ in the Donbass, and by begging for NATO membership despite past agreements. And speaking of agreements, they also violated the Minsk agreements (yes, yes…both sides did. Doesn’t matter).

“It’s true. Trump just said it.”

        Yes. He’s not wrong.

      2. They may not have -initiated- the invasion of their own country, but you can argue that they certainly
        -inspired- it.

        1. “They may not have -initiated- the invasion of their own country, but you can argue that they certainly
          -inspired- it.”

          Good point.

This war could also have been stopped with a *simple statement* by Joe Biden before it even started. He refused.

    1. Lupus
There have always been competent women, just that our jessica ain’t one of them, and I bet Poland wouldn’t want him/her/it back.

      1. I know. I only put that out there because DEI and aviation happenings have been in the news a lot lately.

As for Jessica, nobody likes a harpy.

      2. GYM: Haven’t I warranted a nickname yet? I thought I qualified for the honor, but I haven’t seen any nomenclature suggestions from you.
        What gives?

  5. Pat King to be sentenced today. Crown is seeking a 10 year sentence. Anything more than 2 years less a day is to be served in federal pen. Please Donald, take Alberta into your republic.

      1. Three months house arrest and tons of community service hours. It should have been an unconditional discharge.

  6. Sean Spicer tells Glenn Beck how he’s the reason President Trump can fire anybody without backlash
“Stephen Miller and America First came to me and said, ‘we have an idea…Let’s go to court and make Joe Biden argue that he has the ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY to fire anybody.’
The idea that [Spicer v. Biden] has now become the basis for which President Trump can run around and say, ‘you’re fired,’ is amazing…It’s such sweet poetic justice.”

    1. Trump asks “who is stupid enough to send troops to Ukraine”. Canada says “hold my sarsaparilla”.

    1. Very lenient. I thought they would really come down hard on him, given the threats he kept uttering, etc. His tone and manner were much different than Tamara or Pat, in effect and ways.
This gives hope that IF the ruling doesn’t go their way, their BS sentence will be less than this.
Again, the process is the punishment. Just saw a recent interview with Pat Barber, and he seems pretty chipper, a salt of the earth guy, that’s been thru the grinder, and owes a shitload of legal fees. Anyone know if it’s still illegal to donate to them?

      1. Still… with a guilty verdict hanging around his neck, does that mean he cannot enter the US? How will that affect his livelihood… him being a trucker after all?

  7. The Canadian Press reports that the Parliamentary Budget Officer claims a Universal Basic Income would put $6,100 into the pockets of poor Canadians at a yearly cost of $107 billion – with a straight face. It would reduce poverty by 40%. If we could only hook up MMT with UBI we’d all be millionaires.

    1. The Canadian Press is a monopoly and is very biased. An additional $107-billion spent means nothing to the crappy CP.

    1. From what I read in the article, it seemed like a case of self-defense. The gun was fired unintentionally when Campbell (the accused and convicted) was pushed.
Am I wrong? If I am wrong, what am I missing?

  9. Between “irregular migrants”, “refugees”, organized birth-right citizenship (foreign travel agencies that arrange for pregnant women to “visit” Canada to have their children to become automatic citizens), and “family reunification” that often includes non-relatives who pay to be claimed as relatives, I have no idea what country this is, but it sure isn’t Canada.
