  3. Dear Officer … my great grandparents emigrated from Sweden after the Civil War and slavery had ended. No one in my family has EVER owned any slaves. I want reparations for NOT being a slaveholder family. You OWE me … since we never had the financial advantages which you claim “built America”. Our family had to do our OWN work. You OWE us!

  4. To my understanding, no white American or European ever went into Africa and enslaved anyone. They just bought slaves enslaved by other Africans at a port, or ship to ship

    1. And the worst offenders were Arabs on the east coast of Africa….Zanzibar (an absolutely beautiful place if you ever get the chance to go). It continued until 1909.

  6. Given half a chance and thinking they might get away with it, all those african tribes would still enslave, rape and murder all the other tribes.

    Of course, that is only my opinion based on decades of observing those people.

  10. Always been a stupid premise. We are suing you because we sold our own citizens for slaves. Like the concept of citizenship existed in Africa then or at any time at all.
