  1. Its Winter Time in North America.
Yeah some weather faxxXt, likely imported from California, posted a picture of Denver yesterday with NO snow on the ground, crying out the alarm because it was snowing. The same Climate Clowns who decry warming and live with an eternal fear of warmer weather roll up into a ball when the weather is normal.

  2. call out the Army……….anyone remember what year that was when Toronto got a couple inches of snow and called out the army??? What a bunch of snowflakes eh?

    1. Had a landscaping business back then with a pile of snow contracts. Wasn’t that bad…only needed to call a loader for one property. Spent the next couple of days sniping vastly inflated cash only jobs for properties whose contractors had equipment failures. Good times…

    1. I wouldn’t mind if the -20’s to -40’s all February long prairie temperatures would give visit Toronto for while.

  3. Why only mention Toronto?
This storm has blanketed everywhere from Hamilton to Peterborough to Kingston to Bancroft.
    Its huge.

    1. It’s a normal snowfall. “It’s huge!” he says. FFS. It’s February, what did you think it was going to do?

That said, last year at this time I was looking at motorcycles, because it was warm enough you could ride one.

      1. While the amount of accumulation is just a normal snow event for any given area, this storm covers a much larger area than most snow events.
        So yeah, its huge.

      2. Pantom
I was to go look at a bike yesterday, but cancelled, too many assholes on the road, and bikes aren’t moving that fast at this time of the year, so maybe later this coming week.

  4. These videos remind me of the journalist who was reporting on the hurricane in Florida, barely able to stand upright, when 2 guys strolled by apparently unaffected by the fierce gale.

  5. That’s a blizzard?
    Snowmaggedon?
Sorry, I’ve had more snow from just normal snow events.

    1. Agree!!
Judging by the amount we have been steadily shovelling off our deck and walks we have lots more in Northern Ontario (Lake Nipissing area)
Kudo for the minimal traffic tho.

    2. Yeah, people in Florida are unimpressed, too. They got about the same amount of snow a few weeks ago. Toronto is going to have to punch above its weight if they want to strike fear into the hearts of Floridians.

Here’s the Welcome Center about a mile past the Welcome to Florida arch over I-75

      1. We flew from Toronto to Florida on Jan. 22 through Charlotte. Our American Airlines plane was delayed taking off so the pilot had to return to the terminal for more fuel. He stated he didn’t know the reason for the delay but Charlotte airspace was closed and there was a ground stop. Accident or terrorist attack – no one knew. When we finally landed I asked one of the airport staff what happened. He laughed and said “we don’t do snow here very well”. I looked around and couldn’t see any snow near the terminal and only the lightest of dusting when flying in.

  6. That’s much ado about nothing.

Call me when you can’t see across Yonge Street, or it’s snowing and drifting a foot deep every couple of hours.

      1. Not close to Buffalo, but we do get the annual blizzard, usually in April…. Not as often as the lake effect snow of good ole Lake Superior though.

      2. Snowing sideways where I live at the moment. There will be drifts to clear in the am. No point in moving it twice.

  7. Oh noes! Snowmageddon!!!

I’m sitting in it right now, and this is what we used to call a decent snowfall. Not a storm, not a blizzard, not the End of the World!!!11!, it’s just snowing.

    1977, -that- was a blizzard.

The people of Buffalo NY are laughing at the television right now.

  8. When the minds of many have been programmed that global warming is in full advancement, believing that there will soon be palm trees again in Ft. Mac and Tuk, then a good olde fashioned snow fall will FEEL like it’s Snowmageddon.

The MSM’s HR departments have been screening and choose only those who believe the GM gospel, so article are full of words, catch phrases and propaganda which are unified to push the agendas. And the higher-education class drink the kool-aid for fear of being left behind. Peer pressure has driven the critic thinking right out of the masses.

    1. Glace
That exactly why I quit church going, no room for critical thinking was tolerated.
And I was only 11 when I started down the atheist road.

  9. It would be unusual to NOT have snow and cold temperatures in February of any year east of the Rockies.
Living here in the lower mainland, B.C., our winters are not so severe, but we have had below normal temperatures for a couple of weeks and a few inches of snow that stayed for a week downtown, and lots for skiers going to Whistler. Now, those arctic winds are travelling east.

Spring will come, eventually, probably late and with annoying cold winds.

  10. Snowing lots here in Ottawa.
    I’ll go out shovelling later.
I like the snow up until around St Patty’s day, then give me spring.
People who complain about snow and cold and winter often complain about the wind, rain, the heat, the humidity…

    1. I am remined of that dialogue from “The 13th Warrior.”
Turk: “It is cold and miserable.”
Viking: “How can ‘it’ be cold and miserable? It is you that is cold and miserable.”

  11. It’s not really all that cold there, so I guess the best we can say is “Let the Eastern bastards get wet flurries in the dark.”

  12. This just in Toronto; the prairie provinces care about you and your ‘Snowmageddon’ as much as you care about us.

  13. It’s not huge ffs the roads are barely wet and it’s snowing in February! Sucks the slush will probably freeze overnight but say la vie and suck it up

  14. Toronto Chinatown real time report., 7:22 pm.
    My road’s blocked.
Deepest I’ve seen it in about 7 or 8 years maybe 10?
Me and some neighbour buddies keep our sidewalk cleared for the little old lady shoppers but nobody’s coming.

One good neighbour brought homemade wine and another made awesome Vietnamese coffee.
    Good guys!

  15. Unblocked our road ….:^) (even shoveled a little of the sidewalk on Dundas near where Jack Layton used bang all the sex slaves.
