How Do We Loathe Him?

John Ivison counts the ways;

[Trudeau’s] declaration that Canada has no core identity and is a “post-national” state was the catalyst for a steady decline in the pride of being Canadian.

The white-hot anger now being directed towards the prime minister is the result of a cultural backlash from people who feel like they have become strangers in their own land, abandoned by progressive values and policies they don’t share or understand.

And somehow manages to avoid the words “Chinese” and “corruption”.

  1. You can’t really hate them enough. Not #ThePony, and not the media. STILL lying and running cover for spies, slavers and traitors.

There must be a complete destruction of the Liberals. They must lose -every- seat, and every donor.

    1. I’m sorry to say that Canadian culture is responsible for its own demise. The culture I’m speaking of … is the culture of “Canadian nice”. Isn’t that the dominant Canadian identity? That you’re all just so darn nice?

Well, we all know where nice people finish … and your “nice” PM has sealed your fate. He is erasing Canada … ceding it to the third world and the first world communist Chinese. How nicely “international” of him. And all those nice Canadians went along to get along.

      1. “Canadian nice” is helping some guy whose car stuck in the snow, or giving him a boost, and not charging the guy 10 bucks for it like some f&cking darkies I’ve seen, and had the displeasure to deal with.
In Montreal, a white guy won’t take yer money, a darkie will say “5$??? I want 10$.”
        Ask me how I know.

        1. That’s ok, give him his $10. Then mention after he’s done helping that you will be tossing every single resume of his countrymen in the trashcan from this point forward. Every. Single. One. Wish him a good day, and say “I hope $10 of juice was worth the squeeze”.

          1. YW will not toss any resumes to a trashcan. He will get paid for emptying it though… if he is lucky and happens to show up sober.

    2. I do not get it.

Such an opportunity for Provinces to get their own agenda in a forefront.
The hell with Ottawa, everyone should play in their own sand box, restrict the federal gov powers, strip these parasites of their pensions and lower the Feds to a limited power.

This is a time to get this transfer money and all that socialist crappola out of the way.

Every province should take care of their own. These people were elected by the people of their own province.
      Enough of this Team Canada.

Such an opportunity to dismantle this horrible way this country is governed.

      EACH TO ITS OWN!!!

  2. I believe 90% of CANADIANS are disgusted by little potato……..also known as little Pierre also known as the little Cuban……….

  3. It was the catalyst, but when Trudeau said it he was early in his terms, before he began to flood the zone even more, and after the country had been over-immigrated for decades. He didn’t make it post-national, it was already happening, and he was mostly correct. Tragic and predictable. Most Canadians have fetishized immigration, and most love their doctrine of multi-culturalism.

  4. Yeah I stopped loving Canada when Justin’s step dad shut down Alberta. I didn’t know that I could be any more negative before Castreau took over but he succeeded.

  5. Total BS.
Canadians are angry about inflation/cost of living increases, poor access to health care and the housing crisis. That’s all. Nothing else. These problems all stem from federal policy, immigration, taxation, over-regulation and plandemic policies to be precise.
They couldn’t give a fart in a hurricane’s worth about being called “post national”, or some “cultural pushback” or being “strangers in their own country” or some other nebulous BS.
We’re angry because we are being impoverished by the feds, nothing more, nothing less.
This is pure controlled opposition distraction.

    1. Speak for yourself, yeahwell.

I have LOTS and LOTS of reasons I hate Little Potato and his poisoned clique of WEF fad-chasers, but the five I hate most are his out-of-control TOTALITARIANISM, his compulsive LYING, his blatant HYPOCRISY, his congenitally out-of-touch INSULARITY and his navel-gazing NARCISSISM. And my hatred of his clique is tempered somewhat by the insight that HE CALLS THE SHOTS, on EVERYTHING – it ain’t a lot of their fault, and he doesn’t even hear contrary opinions; he knows what’s best to do about it all, trust him!

Others likely have their own reasons for hating him with a vengeance – I don’t pretend to speak for all Canadians.

      1. The Turd and his cabal haven’t changed their spots since 2015. He announced what his policies would be, and implemented them. Canadians voted for this 3 times. The reason they’re not voting for them a 4th time is because of the reasons I enumerated; the policies resulted in the mass impoverishment of Canadians.
        I stand by my assertion.

        1. I stand by my assertion that Ontario and Quebec voted for this.
They can deal with the results.
I am ready to get out.

          1. You need your own police force, your own financial sector, and your own army, just for starters.
You are about as far from ready to get out as its possible to be.

        2. Well, in the last two elections, the Liberals received fewer votes than the Conservatives. It goes back to imbalance in the system which will ultimately lead to the dissolution of Canada.

    2. I agree, the national pride issue is a symptom of the real problem. The decline in national pride is because the government has proved to be completely incompetent. That embarrassing incompetence, seen both in Canada and internationally, causes a decline in national pride.

I think Canadians are angry because the Trudeau Liberal-NDP government has failed on every core responsibility expected of a federal government : basic economics, national security, national defense, crime and punishment, immigration, border control, illegal/unconstitutional use of the emergency act, the corruption of the banking system properly (like money laundering), and what looks massive financial fraud and corruption within the Liberal Party.

The economic pain, in particular, is the most deeply felt by citizens. We feel poorer and struggle while at the same time we see politicians, their corporate friends and foreign governments stuffing their pockets with our tax money. Then citizens see Trudeau’s tent cities and huge lineups at food banks. Finally, there is the release violent repeat criminals to freely commit more assaults, break-ins and car thefts. The crime and poverty can not be hidden from voter’s sight like hiding documents behind cabinet confidentiality or national security shields

I’m sure the government paid media wants voters to forget the massive, decade long incompetence and corruption of the entire Liberal Party by getting readers to focus other issues. Issues that a new Liberal leader can promise to fix with a few policy changes so they won’t have to talk about the destructive incompetence and corruption of the entire Liberal Party. Always remember who the media works for…

  6. Thank you media .
When I witnessed the eulogy at his father’s funeral and all the media gushery that followed it I distinctly remember thinking “Oh good Lord! That powder puff is going to be Canada’s PM one day…sure enough.

  7. Hypocrisy: So Blackie pushed for “Canada has no core identity and is a post-national state” but now that Trump is trolling with 51st state, he’s proudly pounding chest re Canada.
But Ivison’s “cultural backlash” is tip of the iceberg, he’s hated for so much more, what he did during Freedom Convoy imho is jail time-worthy.

    1. Hypocrisy: So Blackie pushed for “Canada has no core identity and is a post-national state” but now that Trump is trolling with 51st state, he’s proudly pounding chest re Canada.

      Excellent point Dan.

      1. Indeed. It is hard to keep this in mind, because it is so psychotic, but the truth of the matter seems to be that #ShinyPony didn’t believe all the “Post-national Canada” blather any more than he believes the blood-and-soil nationalism he spouts so fervently now.

All lies, all the time. Never a truth except by coincidence. As a piece of twine twists in the wind, pointing whichever way the breezes blow, so goes the #ShinyPony. All socks, no substance.

It worked well for nine long years. But then crumbled after a couple of tweets from #OrangeManBad. You know things must be pretty bad behind the curtain when the facade comes tumbling down so easily.

  8. I guess we can thank Trump for instilling pride of country in Canadians again.

And I like that name, Justin Castreau.

  9. And somehow manages to avoid the words “Chinese” and “corruption”….

… and “complicity”. Of the press.

  10. So not worth reading.
Even in him leaving they still give him a tongue bath.
“while Trudeau may have been the greatest frontman since Freddie Mercury — a narrator and a communicator who, as writer Ian Brown noted, “moves through the crowd like someone doing an easy crawl through lake water,” his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness.”
Ontario and Quebec women and femboys were sucked in by him.
    That’s it.

    1. “Ontario and Quebec women and femboys were sucked in by him.”
Nope, those were on board long before TurD’Ho came along.

  11. Well , along with those who voted for Pierre and Justin , I blame the USCG (US Coast Guard) for the damage they both did to Canada.

In 1961 during the US Bay of Pigs invasion Pierre tried to canoe to Cuba but was picked up by the US Coast Guard and subsequently deported back to Canada. History may have been quite different had the USCG not intervened.

  12. Ivison is an idiot. He lost all credibility as a ‘conservative’ (if he had any) long ago. Too excited by the chance to suck up to Canada’s Perverted Prince.

  13. Just like PET

“ But the inescapable conclusion is that Trudeau has left the country in worse shape than he found it — from the perspective of the public finances; from the glaring regional fissures that threaten national unity in the West and in Quebec; and from this country’s abysmal relations with the world’s great powers.”

The public sentiment was identical when the first Trudeau left office

  14. John Ivison still comes across as totally enamoured by the Turd. He pretends to criticise but can’t help showering heaps of praise all while displaying TDS.

  15. Cheer up folks. He’s on his way out.
The politcos have already turned their bloviators on possible successors.
Honey Landsman says that Carney is “just like Justin”.

The two could hardly be more different in education and professional life, etc
But I guess the only factor that matters is that both are
obstacles to the coming PP era. [which looks to being a sort of branch-plant MAGA]

    1. The Liberal Party basically functions like an organized crime syndicate so changing The Boss makes little difference because the underlying structure and motivations won’t change. Metaphorical, it’s the same as arresting and convicting John Gotti, the Teflon Don. That didn’t end the activities of the New York mobs and their affiliates. As a political party, the Liberals are corrupt to the core so the entire party nèeds to be removed and then investigated by forensic auditors. I’d like to see them lose official party status and, after the investigations, completely disappear as a political party.

      1. Organized crime syndicates don’t utterly destroy nations, chop kids genitalia off, and they generally show a profit.
That we should be so lucky as to be run by an organized crime syndicate.

    2. “Cheer up folks. ”

Tell it to millions he impoverished, and tens (if not hundreds) of thousands he outright ruined and terrorized while you were cheering.

  16. Unless the successful contender is currently a sitting MP the next leader will have their election campaign platform written for them by Leisure Suit Larry vis a vis the document that will test the confidence of the house at the next sitting of parliament.
Unless the winner is a sitting MP, none of the power or authority of the PM can be granted to that individual and as such when the house returns if it is Carney that is anointed, he will be leading the party but Justin will still be PM when he tables his agenda for the coming session no matter how short lived.
If it’s a sitting MP that ends up leader, Justin will have to hand over the reigns as he promised, unless he changes his mind or was lying when he said he would.

So the rumours that Trudeau prefers Carney have credibility for this reason.
He can make Carney wait out in the hall if his throne speech passes.

  17. I was well aware what a disaster he would be, before he was even elected as PM. It’s hereditary, and was pretty obvious from the beginning. The fact the he was even worse than his idiot stepdad, was the biggest surprise!

He now holds the unenviable title as the worst prime minister this country has ever endured!

    Nuff said, good riddance!

  18. Yes I hate Trudeau but my lack of pride in Canada has nothing to do with anything that prancing fool said or did.
The people of Canada, through their support of the ridiculous , the absurd , and most tragically the totalitarian aspects of progressivism did that.

  19. `Ivison starts with a lie and never stops.
“Prime minister Turdeau announced his resignation”.
    No he did not.
He “promised” to resign at some unspecified future date.
Just another self serving promise from a serial liar..
And all the media sycophants keep pretending “Dear Leader has resigned” after a decade of broken promises from that same creature..
So are our government subsidized media stupid?
    Or lying?
    I would claim both.
The current government of Canada is a product manufactured and sold to the voters,by the propaganda wing of the Liberal Party..Our “Media”.
These slimebags are the reason dear Leader has been able to act as Dictator of Canada..
Unchallenged by these “speakers of “Truth” to power as they have sought to silence all criticism of their Product and their own conduct.
Remember that when it comes time to reward all our little helpers.

    1. @JR: Yes, he said he intends to resign after a replacement is elected within Librano$. Which btw is actually worse than before. Because he prorogued, meaning no possibility to issue no confidence motion (there’s no legal way now to challenge his king-status).
But wait there’s more: he can extend prorogation by simply saying March 24th that there was not enough time.

  20. For decades, those who rule us have been replacing us with 100% unnecessary, unwanted, and harmful immigration. There has NEVER been a valid case for ANY immigration, and yet both the left and the fake-right push it.

And make no mistake, THEY push it and then pretend they’re responding to what WE want. They push the propaganda in the controlled media and the classroom, and then shame those who oppose it as being foolish, racist, or such.

The fake-conservatives will simply rebrand it as “temporary foreign workers” to foster the illusion that the economy is so hot that we need more workers, but salve the concerns of their constituents by adding the deceptive term “temporary”, but at its core it’s the same effect.

If there’s a need for SKILLED labor, then allow for TEMPORARY visas only until the need has been met.

Every new “Canadian” from India, Pakistan, Egypt, etc. raises the cost of living for those already here, and it costs far more to bring them in than they will ever contribute to the economy. And that’s before the cost of the related crime and societal degradation.

    1. Agree 100%. But PP is an open borders fanatic just like JT. So we will get unlimited immigration under the “Conservatives,” who will then try to assuage us with tax cuts or some other shiny baubles. Don’t fall for it!

The real disgrace is that the ONLY party committed to cutting immigration, the PPC, is at 1% in the polls. Canadians are utterly hopeless, and unfortunately that also includes Alberta and Saskatchewan. That’s why so many actual conservatives are receptive to Trump’s call for annexation. It’s either that or get ready for the coming Punjabi majority in what remains of Canada.

    2. // There has NEVER been a valid case for ANY immigration, //
Guys wearing T-shirts with “Fighting Terrorism Since 1492” on them
      would probably agree with you.

  21. White hot anger, should leave a mark ?
His incompetence wasn’t hidden, smoothed over a bit maybe by bootlicking media.
Those of their own mind should have been able to see thru it.
Or seen progressive policies that where starting to openly border on insane.
No…… the anger is no where near white hot.
    Not even close.
    But it should be.
The people will settle for rinse and repeat.
Until all the “money” in the world can’t get rid of the smell.
And then you’ll see some anger….hopefully from the right people instead of a herd of coddled Communists.

  22. Ivison sucked off the Turd every chance he got.
His opinion isn’t worth a pinch of piss.
Everyone in the legacy media should be horse whipped for pouring gasoline on the Prime Minstrel’s Bon Fire of Vanity.

  23. Imagine my surprise when I checked my email to find 2 from the Liberal Party welcoming me and thanking me for being part of the movement. What??? Where would they get my email address from and make such an assumption? Should I reply a la Elon Musk….go f**k yourself?

  24. I’m calling BS. I really doubt that the right’s fixation on the ‘strangers in our land’ sentiment is shared broadly. This is about dysfunctional governance and out of control cost of living. It’s not about China either.
