Yet the biggest public health debacle in world history has been subject to a wilful public amnesia, as if it never happened. Surely you’ve noticed yourselves that the subject never arises in conversation, when so recently the C-word was all we could talk about. By ‘debacle’ I meant, of course, not the spread of the virus itself, but the spread of unprecedented, anti-democratic political overreach; of irrational, superstitious micromanagement of the disgusting, infectious proles; and of the high-handed, wholesale cancellation of civil rights.

When you consider the absurd behavior at the time that covid hit the shores and the stunningly stupid mandates that came with it. When you consider that by in large the survival rate for covid infected in Canada was roughly 99% plus some of these rules seemed a tad over reaching.
Now compare the reaction and responses to AIDS when it hit the shores. At that time it was 100% lethal and consequently the powers that be demanded that we pretend it wasn’t happening, no quarantine, no warnings hung around the infected neck nothing, it came to a point that even discussion was called homophobia and you could get canceled for discussions about it.
As such, once the real info started dribbling out about covid, zi knew that about 99% of the info was total bullcrap.
One can excuse the early confusion, but not what happened when information started to come in about the demographics of affected folks. Governments hung onto mandates way too long.
I may have the timeline wrong here, but if memory serves Trudeau clamped down on the Truckers when many European countries were already getting rid of sanctions.

The Diamond Princess was all anyone needed to know. That it was ignored is all the proof needed that they had no one’s best interests in mind. Operation Warp Speed may have been a success, but it was entirely unnecessary.
The Diamond Princess and USS Teddy Roosevelt were the closest thing we’re ever going to get to controlled lab studies of virology on humans, and they were buried hard. That was the point where I started questioning what we were being told.
For me it was definitely the point where I knew that TPTB were full of s**t and I should actively ignore them.

That was certainly one of my data points. The 2 weeks becoming 4, the bad outcomes from ventilators, the breathless reports from Bonnie and Teresa and Deena, the fear-mongering full-court press from the press and their tame “experts”…by the time we got to an effectively untested injection to fight a rapidly-mutating virus, there was nothing left to question. Overwrought bullshit, all of it, and no way I was taking it.
Well?
What are we going to do?
The realization that over 50% of my fellow citizens are drooling superstitious nitwits.??
They are the majority.
Look at the compliance rate.
That my rights and freedoms are nonexistent.???
Whenever the “Government” is in a state of panic.
Ironically the very time inalienable rights are essential.
And no one cares..cause panic.
That the next wave of hysteria will repeat the madness.
That hall monitors gotta monitor.
The very same Karens will be shrieking their aggression again.
And that justice for the Arrogant Ignorants who rampaged unchecked,is impossible to exact.
There are only so many people you can execute.
Now all those who were greatly enriched by their participation are obviously guilty.
But what do we due with the gullible?
What is justice for frightened fools?

They truly represent us very well.

But they form the majority of us..
By definition we are the insane,for questioning the delusions of the majority.
How does one separate themselves from rabid fools and bandits?

I might say the same applies to the Trudeau gun ban!

The biggest and most shocking part was the complete abandonment of democracy. Every single covid regulation was implemented by the executive branch of government with zero legislative oversight. No one’s even concerned about it either. Our entire system is a complete farce. The idea that the king/queen will save us from overreach is clearly garbage too.
Of all politicians, I’m aware of only one, Maxime Bernier, who consistently and forcefully opposed all the Covid nonsense. Even Trump failed in this area. It’s interesting that he still defends his Covid record but he has nominated highly visible Covid outcast Jay Bhattacharya in the job Fauci had. Is .this Trump’s way of admitting that he was duped bigtime by Fauci et al? I admit myself that the first time I heard Fauci speak, with Trump at his side in early 2020, he sounded reasonable and rational. Mea culpa. That opinion soon changed though.
Fauci is just a chew-toy. His job is to stand between us and the REAL architects of this fiasco.
