Woker & Woker Goes Canada

Two & a half weeks ago, the American people declared that they had enough of the endless woke nonsense and elected a group of people to lead them to a prosperous future, not constantly obsessed with grievance culture and permanent victims.

Canada, on the other hand, chooses to skip down Trudeau’s woke rainbow highway.  Here’s the latest milestone down Insanity Avenue:

The traditional anthem of most commonwealth navies has Canada’s top sailors clutching their brass, while Canada’s defence minister said the RCN has every right to shape their own future.

Officials say the song’s gendered language is particularly offensive, including the chorus: Heart of Oak are our ships, jolly tars our men/We always are ready, steady boys steady.

A July 2022 email from RCN Commander Vice-Admiral Angus Topshee confirmed that doing away with Heart of Oak was discussed at the very top of Canada’s navy.

“One of the decisions at Admiral’s Council back in February was to replace Heart of Oak as the RCN march as it fails to meet muster on both GBA+ (Gender-based Analysis Plus) and Canadian grounds,” he wrote.

    1. Because our globo-socialist leaders will need them when they make those suicides mandatory.

  1. Marxism requires an erasure of its peoples’ history. How can this change not be seen as conforming with that wicked ideology? I sincerely hope the senior CPO’s, the ones entrusted to bridge the gap between the quarterdeck and the lower deck as well maintain discipline pushed back on this initiative. And hard.

  2. Churchill once derided Royal Navy tradition as consisting of nothing more than ‘rum, sodomy, and the lash’.

The RCN has certainly improved on that record. We’ve eliminated rum.

  3. Perhaps Justin can use that Rogers commercial with a guy singing a Taylor Swift song in a boat, as a recruiting ad.

  4. How about a variation of “In the Navy” from the Village People? Oh no, couldn’t use that — it refers to “your fellow man”. There’s nothing the libs can’t destroy.

  5. Scott Adams would say the simulation is winking at us again. The name of this poor excuse of a military leader is Topshee – Top-shee. Highest ranking non-man in the navy.

  6. Our chiefs of staff have formed a working committee to rework the lyrics; they have already re-named it: Heart of Pussy Willow.

Spokespeoplkind Admiral Topshee noted that “this has given us a welcome break from our dangerous front-line duties such as putting tampon dispensers in troops’ washrooms and touring mental hospitals for recruits .”

  7. So what are they going to replace “Hearts of Oak” with?
“In the Navy” by the Village People?

  8. The military. Industry. Education. Sports. The music business. The legal system. The family. The workplace. Show business. Religion. Forestry. Morality. Basic human biology. Even puerile beauty pageants.

Anything and everything touched by the Left turns to shït. Nothing is immune. They are a cancer that metastasizes in everything coming into contact with them.

  9. Topshee just proves again that the Canadian military is too top heavy , with too much time on their hands.

  10. The Royal Navy literally civilized the world. Modern beneficiaries of that civilization have been deliberately stupefied so that they are too dumb to understand history and all its imperfect messiness, but the fact is that without the Royal Navy and its ultimate leaders in the British Parliament the concept of human rights, freedom and dignity would not have been spread around the planet.

  11. The Canadian “Military” clearly demonstrated their “capabilities” this past Rememberance Day parade…

This is what you get from DEI, ESG and all the Woke Filth and a MAP QUEER PM.

Not the military when I was in…

  12. Here’s an idea for the RCN anthem: “Row, row, row your boat………” think of the benefits, no more greeenhouse gasses, and no change in lethality or effectiveness.

  13. Navy?
    We have a navy?
    Damn,who knew?
Can any of its “mighty fighting vessels” sail the Northwest Passage?
    Even in Summer?
Or are we fixing to refloat the Terror and Erebus as “State of our art” .

  14. In 2001 I took my grandfather to Halifax. He was on an RN corvette during the war. They’re were also many Canadian corvette crews on the Flower class . They were insanely brave and tough. There was a little reunion. They stood proud and old and sang heart of oak. Even the French Canadians. Not a dry eye in the house. Thanks Trudeau you absolutely prat.
