      Apparently he’s resigned from the current Congress. If the Senate doesn’t confirm him as AG, could;
      a) he enter the next Congress since he was elected to it?
      b) might he be appointed to the Senate by Ron DeSantis?

      1. As you’ve said… Gaetz may be seated as AG as a recess appointment if the new Senate Majority guy says, or be confirmed by Senate vote, failing that, be appointed to Senate by Gov DeSantis.
        I don’t know if he’ll have time to run again for the congressional seat but I doubt it as they don’t have the cushion of a multi seat majority there, nor the luxury of time. There may be budget hell right away.

        There were plenty of RINO Senators who voted to seat Garland as AG 4 years ago

    1. Betting odds have nothing to do with reality. They have everything to do with with anticipated or actual betting preferences. The odds makers are neutral as to outcome.

      Attorneys for First United American Companies, which was named as a backup bidder in the auction, filed a request Thursday seeking an immediate court-ordered meeting about The Onion’s win, claiming there were changing “procedures, lack of transparency, and inaccurate disclosures to interested bidders.”
      The group said there was urgency because “the value of the assets is in the process of being destroyed at this very minute.”

      Since April, The Onion has been led by chief executive Ben Collins, who previously covered disinformation and conspiracy theories for NBC News, a beat that often meant covering Jones.
