    1. I guess the poor wankers are starving for lack of wages.
“The increases would bring a longshore worker’s total average compensation at the Port of Montreal to more than $200,000 per year at the end of the contract.”
“The association added that it is asking longshore workers to provide at least one hour’s notice when they will be absent from a shift — instead of one minute”
      Oh the humanity!

    2. Is blocking ports not considered a terrorist offence worthy of invoking the emegency measures act? Why not do that? Send in the storm troopers, shut down bank acounts, and trample grandmas.

That is normally the Turdo way, what’s the matter here?

  1. It’s super rare for me to take a side with a union, but if this kicks the crap out of The Turd’s™ plan to keep governing until next autumn, so be it.

Your move, Mr. Singh … another day of the pension on the horizon, or the wellbeing of tier 2 Canada?

    1. Little potato should give Singh a long his absolute authority to order workers around, doctors had to give people experimental injections, tow truck drivers had to remove freedom convoy trucks, etc.

It would be funny to see the pretend leader of the NDP ordering people back to work.

  2. Why tariffs?
In the category of similar but different, I’m amazed at progressive liberal’s insistence on the US maintaining a child-like position of dependency on China for 98% of everything. (You know, more jobs Americans don’t want to do.)

Self-sufficiency is not an option. Not for Canada, and not for the US; or so the intellectual progressives insist.

“We have no alternate source of fentanyl, for God’s sake; you’ll cripple the nation. China might cease subsidizing the Biden Crime Family!”

Joe is unquestionably of little use to them now, and Kamala, while politically impotent since Tuesday, is surely on the market.

    And then there’s this:
If the nation’s leaders really cared about carbon dioxide emissions (they don’t), they’d have outlawed trade with China a decade ago.

    1. Trade, hell.

If these people truly believed that CO2 was an existential threat to humanity (they don’t), they’ve be advocating for total war with India and China to stop them producing CO2.

  3. Was this why Freeland had her public G-Spot reaction the other day? I think its either this or war with Iran.

  4. Can’t wait for Potato, 3F and whatever is the Frog’s name to freeze their bank accounts.

  5. Hold the nation hostage, get a prize or get thrown in jail and your bank account frozen. Luck of the draw I reckon.

  6. We need a right-to-work law in Canada, making membership in unions optional. Half the states in the US have right-to-work. You know, the ones where all the jobs are.

In Florida, a right-to-work state, any union that does not have at least 60% of union members paying dues is decertified.
