  1. For Remembrance Day take a look at this site.

    https://www.veterans.gc.ca/en/remembrance/memorials/canadian-virtual-war-memorial

It shows all of Canada’s war dead. Searchable by date, war, regiment/unit.

Relatives and others have posted info on many of the men, and a few women who died serving their country.

    For example;Lance Corporal John Ferguson:

    1. Hollywood designed and operated her campaign … so it only reasons they’re gonna get PAID … and get all their Agents and Acts PAID too.

      1. It’s going to be a long 4 years in Hollywood. Maybe they could make a few movies.

Every time you refer to “biblepounders” GYM, you’re gonna get the same reaction from me…

        1. A public education is a wonderful thing. And someone is still out there in California, milking almonds.

    1. Award of student loans by the government should be conditional upon the applicant accepting a two-year public service assignment, either in a branch of the military or cleaning hotel rooms occupied by illegal aliens.
Or just re-institute the draft and restore boot camp to being the ultimate weight loss medication.

  2. Heh, had a 1976 Olds 98 two door with a 454 Olds. Loved it.

Sold to some in-laws who have stored it since.

    1. No. Colloquially known in these parts as a gopher, technically, it’s a Richardson’s ground squirrel, P’nut’s second cousin, twice removed.

    2. We made a plea last week for Peanut to receive recognition on the masthead. Small Dead Animal of the Year.

  3. Speaking of climate change how about that latest climate conference that everyone is talking about. You know, COP29? It’s all over the news.

    https://www.tag24.com/science/environment/cop29-talks-stall-from-the-start-with-fight-over-agenda-3333970

No idea what TAG24 is but I love this quote …

“Developing countries are pushing for trillions of dollars and insist money should be mostly grants rather than loans, but negotiators are tight-lipped over what final figure might emerge.” The talks come with fresh warnings that the world is far off track to meet the goals of the Paris agreement. The UN said Monday that 2024 is on track to break new temperature records, and the Paris climate agreement’s goals were now “in great peril.”

“Negotiators must increase a $100 billion-a-year target to help developing nations prepare for worsening climate impacts and wean their economies off fossil fuels.”

The hope is trillions, the target is $100 billion-a-year and the offer is … not yet put forward.

Somehow I just don’t see DJT writing a cheque for this.
