    1. Why would I be upset at India taking out the trash on Canadian soil? I suspect if things ever get to trial we will find evidence pretty sparse compared to opinion. Looks like it is time for India to arrest some Canadian “spies” in retaliation. Worked for China.

      1. India is not taking out the trash, India is trash. It is also a hostile foreign power. If enemy agents operating on Canadian soil upset you or not it is your call.

        1. You can’t deny there are tens of thousands – bare minimum – of scumbags freely invited into this country. From fentanyl trading triads to Nigerian Princes to Palestinian/Hamas/Hezbollah Terrorists, to Sikh Kalistanistas.
          Canada is a shithole, the federal government is to blame, they did it on purpose and turf wars on our adulterated tundra is their fault.
          Why would India be friendly? Or 200 other countries? No reason. None.

    The disparity between the two voting groups means a lot.
    We ALL know why one group is so enamored with mail-in votes.
    Even at that, Democrats are basically arguing that every mail-in ballot – including ones unsigned and or undated should still count because Black people or something. Even ones mailed after postmark, etc. should be counted.

    1. Numbers like that still wouldn’t overcome Trump’s voting day advantage of 700,000 votes in 2020. I suspect the trailer load of pre-filled ballots from Joisy explains it. Then it took them a week to mark off 700,000 individual voters who hadn’t voted from the voters’ list. Apparently disinterested inner city blacks voted 100% for Jim Crow Biden.

    I support the move to cut the incarceration rate for black and Indigenous individuals by 50% by 2034 on the condition that they cut their rate of committing crimes by 50%, but it looks like their rate of committing serious crimes may be increasing.

    A few years ago the “justice minister” Arif Virani held a townhall meeting in Parkdale where he claimed that Muslims are the most persecuted people in the world. Because of that I suspect this is his real focus.

  7. During commercial breaks on BNN Bloomberg TV I channel surf to other media outlets. This morning I surfed onto the U.S. CBS News and ABC news. Given that Obama and Harris the last few days have been banging on Black Men Voting for Trump, CBS had on four working-class men, interviewed by a black CBS reporter. All four were anti-Trump voters. I then surfed onto ABC News, and they were eagerly fact-checking Trump statements.

    Conservative commentators are right: the corporate media are an extention of the Democratic party.

    1. I was listening to Bloomberg where some analyst was trying to explain how Trump’s plan would not result in tax cuts because he would just be extending his own tax cut of 2016 that is still in effect. It’s not really a tax “cut” she argued as US voters already have it.

      When she discussed Harris there was no mention of Harris ending Trump’s tax cuts, which was in effect a tax increase (if you want to play her game).

      Also, they made fun of Trump’s favorite word “tariffs”. But if you listened to what Trump said in his interview the previous day, he was far more nuanced about tariffs, using them as a threat to keep other countries from implementing tariffs against the US. You put tariffs on us, we put tariffs on you.

      Trump’s interview on Tuesday was excellent, in part because the interviewer pressed him quite hard on a number of issues, but gave Trump ample time to push back which he did rather masterfully.

      I was left with the feeling that Trump’s plan for the economy is to get other countries to play more fairly whereas Harris’ plan is for tax increases to business and the wealthy.

  12. Breaking: Justin Trudeau today testified that he has the names of Conservative MPs and candidates who have been compromised by foreign interference. He then attacked Poilievre for not being part of the Parliamentary committee having privy to this confidential information. CBC news is playing this for all that it’s worth.
