Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Another profoundly … systemically … unhappy person … tells you how she plans to make YOU unhappy too!
I am profoundly … uninterested
I think the recent discovery of this ultra-woke NPR CEO Maher’s deranged Ted rant about what “truth” is was the final nail in the coffin.
Browbeating your audience has never been a way to win friends and influence people.
It is for Maoists.
She reminded me of one of my sisters. (Not a pleasant reminder, I have avoided contact with them for years.)
Funny how so many of these women claiming to speak for the victimized people of the world seemingly have no problem eating enough calories for 4-5 people while many in the developing world are undernourished.
The LAST thing her enormous legs needed was a RED tutu …
She’s in some serious need of fat shaming.
Toad Talks
what a fount of jingoism.
TED’s preferred pronouns are:
Fat and fatter

*Also, I’m a huge fan of the tutu, just not quite as much a sail as that one is above. I did see some amazing TED talks and think it’s unfortunate that this is where TED ended up.
Go Woke go broke. That’s why.
As much as I hate to link to a CBC-origin video, PJ Pat from YTV nailed this a long time ago:

I’m increasingly finding Dave Rubin grifter-esque, because people who know anything at all about applied science and technology have always recognized TED talks as the kind of marketing BS spouted by the suits who think any technological problem can be solved by glad-handing and a sales pitch. There’s not much daylight between Blimpy the Ballerina here and the average silicon valley vencap droid trying to excite normies about whatever pump-and-dump startup they’ve just created. TED Talks have always been a way for AWFULs who think they’re technologically savvy because they know how to use their iPhones to feel smarter than everyone they look down on.
