    “the rights of Canada, the conviction of Canada,”
    YOU BETCHA aaaaaaaaaand anyone exercising the ‘right’ to speak freely GETS CONVICTED
    what a damnable two faced tyrant

  2. aaaaaaaaaaand re: glorifying evil
    lslam IS the religion of hate,
    the religion of violence,
    the religion of death.

    1. Carney’s “values-based realism” signals the abandonment of values; but then, that typifies his entire approach to governance. Traditional Canadian values are impediments to be jettisoned. Carney, and Trudeau before him have abandoned much that went before them in the pursuit of personal enrichment. I’m reminded of Kamala’s “unburdenment” and Obama’s World Apology Tour before that.

  3. The Irish Poet, W.B. Yeats, could be describing the Western World today. Here’s the first stanza of The Second Coming:

    Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

  4. Re Thumotic Thoughts;

    Athenians worked hard, joyfully.

    Barbarism, providing wealth & power from the sword, is a common denominator for leaders of the lazy.
    It’s the path of least resistance for their incited mobs, who need at least a falsely legitimate outlet for blind rage.

    Mankind and nations typically, but not exclusively, tend to devolve towards anarchy,
    rather than strive to be their best.

    The Left takes advantage of this weakness in character, is today bent on destruction at all costs
    because it’s simply more difficult to persuade some people to work hard and sacrifice for the future.

    Liberals are lazy but ambitious, ie long term goal might be to win the lottery,
    a dangerous combination exacting more effort than merely striving to be the best they can be.

    What is said about the effort of smiling vs frowning is not only a simili here, it’s a consequence;
    Liberals are not happy people, and it’s the only thing in life they work hard at.
