  1. It was essential to feminize men before this type of crap could be tried. That guy was literally wringing his hands. Completely compliant and good for nothing, the mistake was being polite the first time, not this time.

  2. Every injection site is a crime scene and every injector a criminal. No informed consent was received, hospitals and senior facilities in Canada were concentration camps for the culling of seniors. We need trials for these people.

  5. I don’t know what’s funnier: the excess, apparently idle staff coming out of the woodwork in our “chronically understaffed” hospitals; or the fact that only one out of ten Canadian Hospital admin staff can make an adult decision.

        While I think upvoting is BS for real, I also paid attention to power posing people who appear to be there as if they expect the situation become violent any moment.

        And then, I don’t believe they enjoy their masks, they have seen mildly violent patients once a while.

  6. On my day off, I will go there. I will refuse to wear a mask and stay until all their staff come out. Then I will leave. Get a coffee. 20 minutes later repeat. All day long.

    Good thing we need more funding in our hospitals.

        2. What percentage of the Canadian voting public do these types of people represent?

        2. The town of Winchester Ont is in Dundas – South Glengarry., a CPC riding, one of the neighbouring ridings is CPC (PP’s own) and the other Lib. Safe bet that staff are from the Ottawa area and drive in.

          This riding is on the fringe of Ottawa ridings, mostly Lib.

          Health care pro’s in the Ottawa area are mostly Lib NDP.

        3. The PPC got a number of new members from the nursing profession when the mandatory jabs came in. In casual conversation with them it became apparent that was the only issue that mattered to them; on every other social and economic issue they were still in lockstep with the NDP. Now that the mandatory jabs are gone, they’ve all left the PPC.

    There is no place,in the Departmental Proper Operating Procedures for compassion or common sense.
    This is a bureaucracy,which retains only the most compulsive of the minions.
    Nurses and Doctors are outnumbered at impossible odds by the managers and cling-ons.

    2. Back in December my mother was admitted to hospital in Kitchener. When I went in to visit her, at no time did I wear a mask. Very few visitors wore them, none of the patients and only about half of the staff.
      Nobody asked me to wear one.

    4. Here in BC, masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED, but patients don’t have to wear them. I only learned that from the comments here at SDA. Most people don’t know that, and Security personnel hand masks to everyone coming in the door. When I went in for my appointment recently I declined, and nobody said a word.

      But last week when I was injured and went to emergency, I was told I had to wear one. I didn’t argue, I needed to get a gaping wound sewed up and didn’t want any delay. There’s a time to stand up for your rights, but that wasn’t it.

    5. Can hospitals then require you to wear a cross? a Star of David? an Islamic crescent? a blue hat? no shoe on your left foot?

      Stop pretending there’s any legitimate reason for this idiocy. Stop enabling these ridiculous morons whose greatest pleasure in life is being seen following rules.

  11. I spent yesterday at two US hospitals dealing with issues with my wife. Very professional, very efficient. I saw only one person wearing a mask at either of them, a lady who appeared to be an older volunteer, and there was no suggestion that I wear one. What a difference from my experiences at Thunder Bay Regional which is always in gridlock and people lie on gurneys in hallways while emergency is always overflowing. You get what you pay for. I would have been tempted to smack that smarmy little fool.

    1. You don’t get what you pay for when government is involved. You pay through the nose for healthcare in Canada, what you get is typical government crap.

    1. Well Doug Ford and his PCs continue to allow this to occur at the hospitals that he is responsible for and he allows these hospitals to refuse staff that are not injected with mRNA. Doug Ford and his PCs, in his words, stand shoulder to shoulder with Trudeau and his imposition of war measures against Canadians.

      Hopefully this lady got proper medical treatment and they didn’t MAID her while they had her in their clutches.

        Everyone knows the masks are a charade.

        I have been in the ER 3 times in the last 2 years, the doctors and nurses there do not care if you wear a mask. (I am in the Ottawa area.)

        The paramedics in the ambulance I was with for over an hour did not care that I was maskless.

        She wasted 8 minutes complaining, then claimed to have missed her appointment.

Every one of those “professionals” ought to have learned that the virus is indeed much smaller than the openings on those cheap masks, and the woman/patient is right about the masks being as effective a barricade as a chain link fence is for mosquitoes. Yet every one is willing to pretend that wearing the mask is essential.
    I would nominate that patient for minister of health, because she would be more likely than the current minister to put a swift end to this stupidity.

    2. Gees, Chrissie as noted…I have been in the ER 3 times in the last 2 years. From my personal experience:

      Each time I have been admitted, there have been disruptive loud mouthed, profane patients there, and that is what she is.

      This adds a great deal of stress to the entire ER (no private rooms, everyone can hear everybody else).
      People/patients like this lady are very selfish and don’t care about other patients or staff.

  27. The staff didn’t make the mask rule, they just followed it. If they all refused, would management have fined or fired them all?

    Near the beginning of the video, the man tells her it’s a private hospital/facility and she correctly informs him that it’s her public tax dollars paying for it. Aren’t private facilities forbidden in Canada’s wonderful “free” health system?

  32. Ugh this brings back bad memories and is why I avoid hospitals and doctors like the plague now. In January 2023 my husband went to emergency with a possibly fatal condition (probably caused by the covid shot btw) and the mask Nazis wouldn’t let me in with him. Boy did I feel like a bad wife leaving him there but I wasn’t going to put up with their authoritarian, scientifically useless orders.

  33. So if masks are effective, and everyone else is wearing one, why does she need to? Wouldn’t they all be protected by the masks they’re wearing? And if they aren’t, that would mean the masks don’t work, so what possible reason would there be for her to wear one?

  34. Kudos to the lady for sticking up for herself, and winning in the end, but was it necessary to be so verbally abusive? They could have easily had her ejected just for being abusive.
    I don’t agree with that particular facilities policy imposing the wearing of the mask, but I have to give them some credit for their patience when dealing with such an uncomfortable situation, and in the end, they did acquiesce, and allowed the woman to keep her appointment. They could have easily gone full Monty, called the cops, and had her ejected, but in the end, I think that they realized what kind of impact they would have received from social media had they done that. After all, they knew they were being recorded, which I think is the reason why they relented, and they deserve some credit for that. Not a lot, but at least [some] credit.

    A few will also be thinking, “If it weren’t for Quisling Pink Shirt, we wouldn’t be risking our health with these useless masks.”
