    1. If you count the amount owed in pension funds to the various gov’t workers, Mark Levin had said a decade ago that it’s easily over $100 trillion. It could be over $200 trillion without the government’s magic math…

“The Alberta government has introduced legislation to transform its sheriff service department into a provincial police force…. the provincial force will be independent and subject to civilian oversight.”

The contract for provincial policing between AB and the RCMP runs to March 2032 … so if it gets off the ground in the next couple of years, it should be ready to go in another 5 years?
Replacing the RCMP isn’t going to happen overnight, and the negotiations over the AB Pension Fund haven’t started yet.
Premier D. Smith has some work to do. I’m certain she’s the one for it, and we won’t be negotiating from a position of weakness.

AB should have the separation plan ready prior to the #Libranos return to federal office in 8 years +/-
Sask. should come too, it’ll be fun !!!

Nice timing too, a day after having met with the leader of the #Libranos who only smiled and nodded, giving nothing else to the west. I don’t even want anything from the east at this point. It’d be swell of them to just stop stealing our money, our liberty, our right to free speech…

    1. I ate rattle snake in Arizona. Nothing to write about, but I suspect it was old and poorl;y prepared.

    1. “About those unlimited quantities of russian weapons in deep storage … (spoiler: very limited and they are scraping from the bottom of the barrel on everything that isn’t very old):”

*Still* can’t help yourself, huh? You’re like a yappy little dog bouncing around the front door waiting to be let out…not even waiting for the door to be fully opened before you rocket out into the yard.

        1. You know David I have been 100% correct and still called the idiot who was trying to refute the argument an a hole. Sometimes you just have to let it out.

        1. “Don’t feel bad, Fred. I got the the official David warning once.”

He’s not wrong, but neither am I…

    2. Of course – the SDA military experts have already informed us that Russia ran out of ammunition back in Dec 2022 and that “Russia has already lost”!

Still trying to figure out why we’re still sending billions in tax dollars to a regional/civil war conflict, when Russia has already lost???

      1. “Still trying to figure out why we’re still sending billions in tax dollars to a regional/civil war conflict, when Russia has already lost???”

At this point, could it be as simple as ‘saving face’?

Yeah, they’ve made billions of dollars already and there is still more to be made, but public opinion in several nations is turning against them. Not good…could lead to calls for investigations and such.

      1. “Getting the o r c loving simps to have a meltdown and stomp their feet is so easy and rewarding.”

        (and so it begins again…)

  1. When your enemy isn’t my enemy…

Here is something hilarious that no doubt is also a worry from Trudeau too.

The leadership in France is afraid that their Military will be cheerleaders as they want to invade Ukraine but it’s Military supports Russia.

Pissing off your soldiers isn’t a good idea by your politicians.

    1. Yes, I read this too. Confirms my suspicion that we are being lied to concerning “civilian” deaths. I still haven’t found a reliable source. The “Gazan health ministry” is just Hamas as they are the government of Gaza.

Yeah, that was good. Not that we didn’t already know it, but to see the perfectly linear progression in a graph is definitely an eye-opener. Now we just need someone to put this out to the MSM…

        (yeah, right…)

  2. Fulton County DA Fani Willis must step aside or remove special prosecutor Nathan Wade in Trump case.

From the Canadian Press but I expect it will spill out today.

You can hire the guy or have sex with him but you can’t do both.

    1. I’ve just been watching kids in the playground at the Calgary library, and it’s the perfect accompaniment to a rereading of that little thread. You’re daft as a bug, watchy, but geez you’re fun sometimes!

  7. I wonder what the cost is in Canada with how many unskilled workers we let into the country who seem to go to the head of the liver and kidney transplant lists.

Immigrants who could be deemed an undue cost to the Canadian healthcare system are supposed to be ineligible for entry, yet this has been going on at least since the days of Jason Kenney being the immigration minister under Harper.

    1. Leprosy doesn’t conjure images. Conjurors conjure images. That’s if they’re lucky.

“We recently suffered a mysterious disease.”
      “Leprous?”
      “Damn near killed us!”
