The Trudeau Panic was real: Canadian spy suspect Qiu led WIV’s “synthetic bat filovirus” project with Wuhan Institute’s Vice-Director

While working for Canada and surreptitiously transferring lethal virus samples to China, Xiangguo Qiu was enlisted to lead Wuhan Institute of Virology’s synthetic bat filovirus project with the institute’s Vice-Director, a senior Chinese scientist that worked in 2015 on a controversial United States “hybrid version of a bat coronavirus.”

This explosive evidence — yet to be reported from hundreds of redacted documents released this week by Canada’s government — suggests that Xiangguo Qiu was likely working directly with the Chinese virologist at the centre of the Covid-19 Wuhan lab-leak theory, Dr. Shi Zhengli.

Dr. Shi — known as the “bat woman” for her bat vaccine studies in China — is reportedly a deputy-director for the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV.)

While no government has concluded Covid-19 emanated from WIV, last year a number of Western intelligence agencies including the FBI told the public they do believe the most likely cause of the deadly pandemic was that Chinese scientists were working with bat viruses that leaked into Wuhan’s population in 2019.

This controversial assessment is far from unanimous in Western intelligence.

But at least some CSIS investigators with awareness of the Xiangguo Qiu probe agree with the FBI assessment, a confidential intelligence source has informed The Bureau.

And now, the sensitive records disclosed by CSIS — which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tried to suppress — potentially place Xiangguo Qiu at the scene of the crime with numerous international scientists involved in bat coronavirus studies.

Regarding Individual 1, the redacted CSIS report says:

“In 2015, [WIV’s vice-director] was involved in Gain of Function experiments with US researchers as part of a study that created a hybrid version of a bat coronavirus; one related to the virus that caused Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which could jump directly from bats to humans.”

        It was the worst flu/cold/whatever that I ever had. When I got Covid 2 years later it was nothing more than half a day sniffles.

  2. It looks like we are only scratching the surface of this scandal. The Trudeau Liberal-NDP government will try to shut down a thorough investigation, probably using national security and cabinet confidentiality to do so.

    It’s crazy how far Canada has fallen that such a serious breach of national security is being hidden by our prime minister and his government. Only independent investigative journalists are pursuing this scandal with the importance it deserves.

        1. JR, the Thalidimide scandal took 12 years to break into the public. 12 years! How many people do you know that were personally affected by Thalidimide? I can think of one. Compare this to the number of people I know personally that seem to have died because of the WuWHOWinterpeg KKK (KillerFlu Koolaid Killoff) and associated mandates — 5 to 10.

          The reckoning will be a fraction of 12 years if we are lucky! One third to 1 half of the time = 4 to 6 years. Alas, given that most of the culprits and their accessories have allready been re-elected once, I’m sceptical any heads will roll.

Because it wasn’t until PP saw the groundswell of support for the Freedom convoy that he decided it was safe to break with his theretofore support of every insane, unscientific, and rights-trampling measure governments took.         For that I will always be suspicious of Poilievre’s sincerity. The rights violations that were condoned, or even encouraged, dwarf any other issue, even now as there hasn’t been any accountability. That’s why the millions who stood their ground in the face of outrageous tyranny won’t let it go. I know I certainly won’t.

    1. The silence is deafening. It was obvious from the beginning that this was related to Covid. Given that the epidemic was the result of incompetence at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (aka China’s biowarfare program), this could have been a hell of lot worse. Instead of an authoritarian overreaction by western and western-aligned governments to what turned out to be not as bad as claimed, we could have actually had the second coming of the Black Death.

      A bullet was dodged, and it would be best if the next bout of authoritarianism was aimed at those who collude and collaborate with the Chinese communists. Since most of them are either in the government or directly employed by it, and were part of the authoritarian overreaction to Covid, they would be given a dose of their own medicine. I’m sure it will be just as eagerly received as it was given.

    1. Not many consider your point #2 but I have been saying this, mostly in a sardonic way, for years.

      It would be unfathomable for our governments to announce to us that they are no longer cutting pension checks or treating people, but: government is bankrupt and has no way of honoring pensions unless the taxes or the tax base are massively increased; public pension schemes were based on an expected mortality of ~73, which is now ~83; greater than 80% of frontline health budgets are consumed looking after those in their last couple of years of life.

      I used to joke that because of the above, it wouldn’t surprise me if the government were to offer (then mandate?) lethal injections to seniors once they reached a given age. And lo! Here we are now with ever expanding legal euthanasia, and a “pandemic” that hit over 70s the most.

I’ll also add to your list by mentioning other (un)intentional aspects of the Chinese bioweapon: it helped them avoid a Tiananmen Square type disaster in Hong Kong when mass protests there threatened to disrupt the Chinese takeover of local media and government, in violation of agreed upon timeliness. Their lockdowns prevented the danger of protests from spreading while also providing the excuse to implement mass surveillance apparatus and a template for weak, craven, western governments.

      It also obviously helped to destabilize the end of Trump’s term, assisted the left to steal the election via mass mail-in ballot fraud, and sow the economic and societal turmoil we’ve endured ever since.

      The outcomes for China really couldn’t have been much better than what they likely planned.

    Run with German and Dutch cooperation and surprise surprise,all the usual suspects,especially those who argued , and won, the case for the “Virus” could not have come from the French Built Wuhan Lab..
    That it must have evolved in the wild,via vectors no one has found to this day…
    However ,these “Experts” might have known what they were talking about..Cause , Not the Wuhan Lab…Nope..
    Their lab.
