Same thing happened in Australia in 2020. Massive brushfires blamed on climate change. However, hundreds were arrested and convicted of committing arson. Just a case of more copycat criminals in Canada.
If climate change was a real problem, Trudeau, Freeland, Guilbeault, Singh, May, etc. wouldn’t fly. They’d do business via Zoom calls.
Trudeau’s cabinet ministers would give up their cars and take public transit. This would also reduce the number of stolen ministerial cars.
And they’d eliminate all parking spots at federal buildings. Civil servants, who tend to believe Trudeau’s BS, can practice what Trudeau preaches.
Of course they would fly, take diesel buses, use limos and otherwise generate multiples of CO2 even if climate change was a problem, because they are the “anointed” and thus exempt from the restrictions applied to everyone else.
Almost all fires are caused by human activity. There are 5 times as many humans in Alberta than when I was a kid and I think 1948? was still our worst fire year. Global warming is pure BS.

The gov’t of Canada has ramped up their corruption, their incessant lies and skullduggery, and malfeasance.
In everything I see that is from the federal gov’t, I see major problems, and the thought occurs to me that if the gov’t of Canada was found out by released private papers or secret correspondence between them, to actually want Canada to fail and to ruin the country, I wouldn’t be surprised, it would only cause a shrug by the masses that at last the truth has come out, and nobody would be surprised.
What? What would the gov’t of Canada do differently, if they wanted Canada to fail comprehensively?
Nothing would be different! They’d do exactly this, and mirror the Democrats in the USA.

There was also a dude found guilty of setting fires in Alberta up around Ft Mac last year.
Seems to be a storm of arsonists. If it isn’t a forest it’s a church. Come to think of it it used to be said that Indians used to light up fires so as to work on fire crews, but then again that was discounted as malicious rumours sort of like misinformation today
